A Lesson
I learned a valuable lesson today: if you're gonna do something bad, don't get caught. Although the lesson that they wanted me to learn was more along the lines of, "don't do bad stuff", I don't really care what they think, as I have lost all tiny inklings of respect that I had for my school. All of it. I feel bad for the poor 6th graders who have 3 whole years here, because I can barely even last one. Anyway, I could explain what I mean by all of this, but if you are important enough to know, then you already do, and if you're not, then you never will. Because I have explained it quite enough, and this stupid situation has caused me enough trouble. Everyone thinks I'm this bad kid now, but I'm really not. You guys know that... I hope. Anyway, I really need my friends right now, as I am sick to death of adults and all their stupid expectations and rules and telling me what I can and can't say. Whatever happened to freedom of speech and expression? I've always thought it was ridiculous that one human being has so much power over another, when really, we're all just people. I mean, obviously someone has to be in charge, and someone has to make laws, because otherwise everything would be chaos and people would be running around doing terrible things. But all these STUPID laws that people make, they cater to EVERYONE'S needs. I was reading The Da Vinci Code, and they were in France, and the French Judicial Police guy said something totally true: "Here in France, we have laws to protect the police, not the criminal." Because in America, they have all these stupid laws and law suits about people who just take advantage of the law. They have laws to protect people with disabilities, for example. But some stupid mother will sue some school because they played a game that her special ed kid couldn't participate in, and it will be a huge deal and discrimination and everything. It's like they have a law for every single person. And people just take advantage of these laws! Do you know what I mean? Probably not; I'm not being very clear, but anyway I hope you do. And it drives me crazy!!! I hate how people do that! I just hate it! And I'm starting to think my dad is right. He says, "Even though they say America is a free country, it's controlled freedom." Which is totally true! Like freedom of speech! If we were really allowed to say what we wanted, people wouldn't be arrested just for making a bomb threat in an airport. And if we really had freedom of expression, we would be able to wear what we wanted to school. And if we REALLY had freedom of religion, we would be able to discuss God in school if we wanted to. But we don't have any of that. My dad is totally right. We have controlled freedom. It's like those car insurance commercials where they tell the kid, "Here's a new bike, but you're only allowed to ride it in this five-foot square." Know what I'm talking about? Stupid laws. Stupid adults that tell me what to do. I mean, obviously they tell me what to do because they are in charge of me and know what's best because they have more experience, but I think that I should be part of the decisions that are made about ME. Like, I'm not five years old, or even like eight or nine. I'm at a point where I'm smart and I know about the world and life and stuff. I'm not saying I have the experience of an adult, obviously, but I know enough now that I can help make my own decisions, at least have a say in them. Am I right? Know what else I hate? The drinking age. I'm not saying I think it should be younger so I can drink earlier. But if you become a legal adult at 18, then there's nothing you shouldn't be able to do. That's really stupid. You're not dependant on your parents anymore, you can live on your own, you can be in the army for Pete's sake! But you can't drink! It's stupid! If you're an adult, then you should be able to do what every other adult is allowed to do! Once you're an adult, you're an adult! It's just so stupid!!!!!!!!! I hate it! People think they can control your life! But the President is no more important than a hillbilly from North Carolina! They're all just people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why should one get to tell the other one what they can and can't do??? Besides the obvious laws, so people don't get murdered. But like, other stuff! It's so stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just hate it soo much! Do you agree? When you're commenting go through all this stuff I'm discussing again and put your input about each one, okay? Because I really wanna know what you think! Because am I the only one who thinks that this stuff is just ridiculous?????????????????? Seriously!!! Anyway, I think this is a long enough post..... bye. Please comment on all of it!

yeah i could see people thinking your bad if you like beat someone up or something but its nothing like that(well i guess they probably don't know what you did) but still. to me this school isn't that much different than west or east cause they're all dumb so doesn't really matter. yeah i never really got the freedom of speech thing cause its like those ads where say all the rules really fast so it sounds good but its really not. like yeah you have freedom of speech as long as its not interupting a teacher or dirupting a class or other people at the store or mall or saying swear words or insulting people especially the president and all this other stuff. i can see the expression thing cause people already wear pretty slutty stuff so who knows what they would wear without those rules but the no hats or like gang symbols thing is dumb. i get that people need to have power over others like police having the power to arrest people that are dangerous and hurting others and judges that can sentence bad people too but yeah its dumb all of the rules people go by to make sure they don't insult someone or discriminate against someone or make people mad at them but it just gives people more reason to just randomly sue people. like some people will try to sue if ANYTHING happens that they don't like and a lot of times they probably can. and yeah its dumb that adults have all the power and kids have basically none. i know like 1st and 2nd graders shouldn't really have that much power but teenagers should be able to be more involved and have more power because im sure there a lot of teenagers that have better ideas than some of the adults in charge. and just because they have more "experience" doesn't mean they're better than us or smarter than us. they just like to use that as an excuse to not pay any attention to what we say and think. i think the drinking age should stay the same cause i know what your saying like everything else you can do when you 18 but a lot of people start drinking before they're 21 and if the drinking age was lower they would probably start drinking that much sooner. smoking should be changed to 21 too cause then maybe kids wouldn't start smoking or at least not so early. what your saying makes sense but i think since its something bad it should be later. wow thats probably the longest comment ever.
i guess ur right bout drinking and smoking, but if thats at 21, then all the other adult stuff shud be too. anyway...ya idk. but see! u do know what i mean about ppl taking advantage of laws. thats exactly what i meant! idk. sometimes i just get so frustrated and fed up with the world.
i know people should just stop and realize how dumb they are being.
hey girlie! first let me just say that im there for you,k? i do NOT think your a bad kid- not at all. so don't let ANYONE tell you otherwise. and I agree with you about the freedom of speech thing. but about the bomb threats and stuff- that involves more than the one person, it involves the lives of others and their families, but i get what you were trying to say. and the reason the drinking age is 21 is because a persons frontal lobe doesn't fully develop until your 21, and drinking effects your frontal lobe (the decision making/ thought part of the brain) and you wouldn't want to permanently damage that, would you? but yeah idk about the smoking age, to each his own, right? and yeah i think its really stupid that people sue because their kid can't do something cuz he/she is disabled, does that mean that the others can't do anything fun?? but then again, imagine you were the disabled one, how would you feel? i think they should have things that disabled people can do also, so they can be involved most of the time. because the fact is, they were born like that, or became like that, and just because nature said they should be like that, doesn't mean nature chose ALL of us to be like that. nature chose them because they are special, and we should honor that, and celebrate it- not just avoid it. I 100% am with you on the religion thing! we should be able to talk about Jesus, God, Messiah, Buddha, Vashnu, or any other God/ Goddess. that i think is ridiculous on the schools side. and if someone is offended, then get used to it! EVERYONE has the freedom of religion, not just you and your religion. as long as you aren't FORCING the religion. and i do think the president gets too much credit, thats why we balance our government, but i think that there should be 4 branches with equal power. the legislative, judicial, executive, and the people. right now, i just don't feel like americans have that much power. and on top of it, the place that does have power is corrupt and untrustworthy. we just need to fix americas morals, so that women wouldn't have to feel like they need to strip down to get men, or the KKK would end and let everyone be equal. you might be suprised, maybe not, but the KKK is still alive, and same with Nazi's, its SICK and we need to fix that. anyway thats what i have to say.
Love you riz and i hope your ok and all, remember im on your side.:) see ya tomorrow
I agree with most of this. I am actually really sick of being told that I cannot understand because I don't have the expierience. It is a stupid excuse. If you throw a shoe at a regular person you would not get in much trouble, but throwing a shoe at the president... DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!! Whatever happened to all men are created equal. Teachers can inturrupt you, but if you inturrupt them... Stop and think. There are so many lines drawn. It makes me sad. Also, the voting age used to be 21, but the draft age was always 18, so the 18 year old draftees wondered why they did not get a say in the people who were sending them to war. Then congress changed the voting age to 18. FINALLY: you are a good person!!!

i agree with "the one who watches" on most claims, especially the experience one. who's to say that just because im 13 means im immature!! thats just like racism, except with age.
