Sneaky!!!

So when we went to a movie on Saturday, we went to Walgreens first, because its like ten times cheaper than the theater candy. And we all got giant bottles of cream soda and like three boxes of candy. And then, since we were all carrying presents except Paige, we bought a gift bag. And then we put all the junk food in there and Paige carried it in like a present and it was so funny!!! Ooh, that's right, we're sneaky!!! And then at Leeann Chin we ordered these little citrus ice cream things and then we put toothpicks in them and started singing happy birthday and Louisse was hiding and then she blew out the toothpicks that were never on fire. It was pretty funny.

You know, I haven't excerpted in a while. I will right now.

A thin sheet of cold fog turned the tall piles of colorful leaves to soggy brown messes. I had had my brown corduroy jacket for a few years now, and it was worn thin. I pulled it closer to me, shielded against the October chill. A cold whisper of a breeze blew my hair into my eyes, and I took my freezing hand out of my pocket to wipe it away. The thin gold chain that sat on my collarbones felt like ice against my skin, biting like a tiny golden snake.
Finally I reached the house. I quickly ran up the steps leading to the door and let myself in. Upon calling out, I found that I was alone. I heated some tea and pulled on a fresh pair of warm socks. Then I curled up on the beaten couch and fell asleep.

That wasn't the bestest, but whatever. So guess what???? When we went to the zoo on Friday, on the way back, our bus got lost!!! And we were still on the bus when school ended!!! And then all the buses left and we got to school at like 3:00!!! And so they had a separate buses come for our city and that other one that's the name of our county too. And we ended up getting home at 3:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What's funny, though, is that when we were getting on the bus at the zoo to go home, we all got on the right bus, but then stupid Mrs. Ford said no, You're supposed to be on bus 5 and this is bus 6! Even though it was the samd bus and bus driver and everything. So they made us switch buses even though there were like fifty of us on our bus and like three people on the other bus. So so what what bus we're on, just as long as we're on a bus!!! But whatever! It's fate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because we switched and then that was what bus got lost! FATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
