response and other stuff

thanx for your comment, kylie/jenjeanne2710!!! BTW, most of my writing, especially stuff that isn't from this year is actually quite bad... at least compared to stuff i write now... i mean, it is SO much better than stuff from last year!!! i wish more people would comment... that means you if you are reading this right now!!!! that exerpt was the beginning of the story... i will write the next thing after that, but i will start with the last sentence of the other exerpt

She ran quickly and silently away, following the twisting road into the horizon and out of sight.

"Do you have the Pendant?" a chilling voice said. A hooded figure sat in a black throne. Before her knelt a man, shaking with fear. "No, Your Majesty," the man replied. He raised his head slightly as if to make eye contact, then quickly lowered it again.
Now the woman shook with icy rage.
"Why?" the Queen demanded. She pounded her clenched fist on the arm of the chair.
"There were certain... difficulties... A powerful king of a faraway kingdom is in posession of it. It proved near impossible to take is from him."
The Queen smiled. "And who might this regal king be?" She smiled wider, so wide that her lips disappeared and her eyes flashed.
"King Roiter of Shargesty," the man answered.
"You have failed me, Saar, and thus you are useless to me.
The man's face contorted into a wrinkle of confusion and fear. The Queen raised her hand, and the man lifted his arm as if to shield his face, but it was in vain. A blot of blue electricity shot from the Queen's blackened fingertips, and the man crumpled to the floor, lifeless.
