Fine...

FINE! I'll post something different!!! You have no idea how desperate you all sound! But just because I don't post every day doesn't mean I take that long to post! Some people take forever! But sorry my computer time is limited- don't ask why. So say goodbye to the daily post- at least for now. Anyway, I'll do 'like an exerpt or something'.

She started with a walk. Slow and easygoing, in no hurry at all. But she gradually became too impatient and speeded up. When even that was too slow, she kicked off her shoes and sprinted across the field. When she came to the stream, her heart pounded faster, but she leapt over it with ease. Soon she was there.
The bright sun shone through the thick canopy of leaves, casting a green light through the trees. The stream had become a creek, wider and clearer. Needles blanketed the ground and gave the whole place a fresh, earthy smell. Birds chirped overhead.
She stepped up to a thick log that led across the creek. Following the familiar path that she knew by heart, she made her way to the tree. It must have been centuries old. It towered above all the other trees. The trunk was wide enough to wrap twelve arms around, and was covered in knarly bark. Its branches twisted up and around, reaching out like crooked fingers. The girl climbed quickly up the tree, nimble with experience. Her bare feet were tough and the bark was soft with wear. When she reached her spot, she settled herself in comfortably and fell asleep.
It was dark when she awakened. The stars were barely visible through the trees and a cool breeze wisped across her hot face. She heard rustling in down below, and stiffened. The sound soon stopped, as if someone was trying to stifle it.
A twig cracked.
A dark figure crept below her. The girl stayed perfectly still, not daring to breathe. A flashlight clicked on and she turned away, hugging the tree for cover. Carefully, she leaned around again to see what was going on. When she saw who the figure was, she nearly screamed with despair.
No! she thought. This was the last place that she had thought they would look. She had thought she was safe here!

That wasn't the best, but I guess it was okay. Bye!!!

IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like most of you all know, I get hyper in the afternoons and evenings. And ESPECIALLY on Fridays!!! So I'm being a freakishly hyper freak. Guess what? I'm allergic to cats. I like cupcakes. And astounding products. Can you guess what movie I'm watching. I'M SO EXCITED!!! I LOVE the kupcake-anator!!! It can make cupcakes out of ANYTHING you have in your kitchen. Anything? ANYTHING. Anything? ANYTHING. Anything? ANYTHING!!! Hang in there, baby! Yeah, I'm being random. Get over it! Wow I'm a freak. CHOCOLATE THUND-A! I'm so random and hyper!!! Oh scary!!! It's a freaky spider thing! There is a fat woman in a closet. And Ben. My friend lives in Europe and she has a Mum. She went to Africa to learn stuff. So did I. ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK today we did stupid tests. It was our last day. But we got to have so much free time and we weren't allowed to learn!!! So anyway I was reading because I was done with my test, and Louisse came over to sit by me. Then I was putting my head down and trying to go to sleep but I couldn't because Louisse was staring at me. Then I accidentally did something embarrassing which I am not going to say. And Louisse please don't tell. So anyway then we both started cracking up!!! And everybody was looking at us like OMG you guys are freaks. So then Louisse went back to sit in her spot because we didn't want to get in trouble, but every time we looked at each other we freaked out and started laughing. And then in Language Arts something funny happened:
So Mrs. Peterfeso was like "Everybody go sit down." And people were still standing up so she said it again and again and she kept saying it until people sat down but they were still standing so she kept saying it. And so she was starting to sound like a broken record. So finally John sat down and then Igor's like "Good job, John, you broke Mrs. Peterfeso!" And we all started laughing. But Mrs. Peterfeso's just like "Hmm, interesting." until we stopped. But then she's like "Hmm, interesting," again and so we started to laugh again. And then Mrs. Peterfeso's like to Leah, "I thought that was pretty disrespectful, didn't you?" and Leah's like "Yeah." But anyway then Mrs. Peterfeso was just silent. I was biting my lip and my tongue and my cheek so I wouldn't laugh because it was so hilarious!!! And soon I was literally crying because I couldn't laugh!!! It was sooooooo funny!!! Anyway that's all for now so bye!!!

On the bright side, a lot of people (including me) think we're going to have a snow day tomorrow!!! (and yes, Jennifer, it IS possible!!!) Last year we got out of school early one day and the next day we had a snow day!!! It was so awesome cuz it messed up the whole school day!!!

Strange Feelings and A New Bet

Have you ever really wanted to do something, and you don't know what, just something? Like something important? Yeah, it's a weird feeling. It's hard to explain.
Anyway, we're doing another bet. I can't tell anyone something about Louisse, and it last till the last day of school. Whoever loses has to yodel (yes, yodel) while we're walking to the bus where people can hear. And IM GONNA WIN!!!!!!!!!! I have lost EVERY bet this year and now I'm gonna win. Anyway, I g2g now sorry for the short post.

The Rest of Us

I don't know why I chose that title, I just liked it. Normally I don't like when people's titles have nothin to do with the post, because the you're all excited to see this awesome post, and it ends up being dumb (no offense). So sorry about that. I have decided to exerpt, which I have not done in FOREVER!!!

Though the school was diverse, full of many different and interesting people, all the students seemed to revolve around just three girls. These girls were flawless in every way. Their skin was free of blemishes, all tanned beautifully. Their hair was shiny and bobbed up and down with each step. Their eyelashes were dark and thick, their lips were full and pink, and their clothes were of high quality and very expensive.
But the girls' eyes didn't sparkle with every mischievous smile. They didn't huddle, hiding urgent whispers, then laughing unnaturally loud so as to impress and mystify others. They didn't have snappy comebacks or funny jokes. They didn't even gossip.
These girls' personalities were so blank, it was as if corpses were walking around. There were never any laughs or smiles radiating from them. In fact, they barely talked. With their strange personalities and perfect looks, these girls were almost inhuman.
There were another three girls roaming the halls of the school, and they too were almost alien. But they were just the opposite. Dry bumps and blemishes covered their ghostly pale skin. Their hair was a colorless tangle of grease and knots. They had thin lips and eyelashes, and their clothes were the same as their hair: messy and free of color.
The girls' personalities, however, were the most beautiful part of them. Their laughs always echoed throughout the school, and their smiles lit the halls. Happiness emanated from their sparkling eyes, and they were all friendly and easy to talk to.
Everyone else in the school was invisible, floating through the walls as if they weren't even there. What went on between each group of girls was a mystery to even the teachers.

Once again that was a really bad ending but I gotta go now so BYE.

Scooby Dooby Doo

The last day of Spring Break, and it is SNOWING! (see my last post for a freakish spaz attack) I know it will melt soon, like in a week, but still!!! I was going to play outside and stuff today!!! Well, actually its already melting like on the driveway and the street and stuff, but just yesterday you could see the beautiful green (yellow) grass!!! Oh well. I shall have to push on, however hard and torturous it may be. I WILL SURVIVE!!! Hey, isn't that the name of a song? Why, yes it is!!! Lately a lot of stuff has been reminding me of songs. How strange. Even though I like school, I shall be sad to leave this glorious freedom. Well, it must be done sometime. And after this year we will be halfway done with mandatory tortu- oops, I mean school. Oh well. At least I'm not alone in this cruel, cruel activity called learning. I'm talking kind of weird. Like, I'm using 'shall' and stuff.
Scooby Doo must be a VERY popular show. I mean, its been around since like the 70's and it's STILL on. Same with weird shows like Hogan's Heroes and I Love Lucy and stuff. But those are classics. I guess some shows never die. I like Ricky in I Love Lucy. His accent is cool. I like Australian accents, too. They're funny. G'day, mate!!! I also like the Scooby Doo theme song. OK, enough babbling about old stuff that nobody watches anymore (except my brother, who is watching Scooby Doo right now).
I am very bored. I want to go outside. I want the snow to stop. I want it to be summer. I want, I want, I want. How selfish. Well, I'm sure you all want the same things. Am I right?

I was so mad when it snowed like ten inches last weekend, but now its all gone!!! Sadly we have to go to school on Tuesday, but oh well. School is fun (sometimes). Freedom is much better, though. I didn't really go a lot of places, besides my friends houses, but it was still awesome. And now its all sunny and warm and I can go outside in shorts without freezing my butt off!!! Wimps

My sister and brother and mom and dad are watching the Wizard of Oz right now, and I can hear some of it, and I've been thinking... Dorothy is such a wimp! Seriously, she cries all the time, and the only way she can kill a witch is by pouring water on her!!! And the witch isn't even magical or anything! She could just punch her and be done with it! Plus flying monkeys are cool, not scary!!! And all Dorothy can think about is her precious little slippers, when she should be fearing for her life. (Well, according to the movie. But like I said, the witch shows no sign whatsoever of any magical powers) So yeah, I was just thinking about that... I'm so bored!!! But I have to go off here anyway; I've been on here for like two hours. How pathetic. While the rest of you are traveling the world becoming tan and spending all your money and being happy or at least sleeping over at your friend's house, I'm sitting at the computer the whole night like a loser without a life. YAY!!!

Yes!!! My dad said I could go on here again!!! I'm so happy! I'm in a good mood now!!! Even the snow doesn't seem like that big of a deal. It'll melt. Today at Louisse's we were dancing, which is surprising, because I don't dance usually. It was fun though. People are so lucky!!! When we were at Louisse's we walked over to Megan S's and right after we left she went to California!!! And Abby is in Italy, and Hayley is going to Florida and Annelise is going to California and I'm stuck rotting in the mud and snow!!! So sad. Oh well. Easter is soon!!! I'm excited. Except there should be daffodils and bunnies, and instead there is like two feet of snow. It'd better melt by Sunday. I mean, it was pretty much gone yesterday, and now it's like we went back to December!!! Grrrrrrrr... Third quarter ended yesterday. So sad... no more PAC, no more gym. In the beginning of the year I would have been happy about that, but I don't want to go to health now, I want to stay in gym. It is fun, especially when we play soccer. I love soccer!!! And softball, but soccer is better. Anyway, that's pretty much all I have to write about... we're coloring Easter eggs tomorrow... It's a tradition. And every year I do this really cool thing: You take a needle and poke a smallish hole in an egg... be careful not to break it! It has to be on the top of the egg. Then do the same thing on the bottom of the egg. Get a bowl and hold the egg over the bowl. Then blow through the top hole and the yolk will come out the bottom, and so at the end you are left with the shell. Then you can dye the egg, but it floats so you have to hold it under the dye. Be careful again not to break it again!!! Then it lasts forever!!! Only last year my traditional egg broke and my mom only lets me do it to one egg so I don't waste them. (which I did) OK, right now I am listening to a song by Queen called Bohemian Rhapsody (don't ask me why I am listening to it; I'm a weirdo) and it is strange. BTW, thank you so much for all the votes on Louisse's poll. I got 10!!! I feel so good now!!! JK, I know I'm weird and I don't care if you vote for me. Anyway bye now!!!

Snow...

IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate snow so much!!! Two days before Easter and we have like two feet of snow!!! That sucks!!! I am at Louisse's house right now. Louisse and Jodi are dancing and it is really weird!!! I'm still not allowed on my blog but I don't care. I can't stand not being on it!!! It's so fun!!! There's like nothing to post about... again!!! It's spring break right now!!! My cousins might sleep over when they come for Easter. I really like when they sleep over, even though one of them is like sixteen and she probably doesn't want to come over anyway. The other one is fourteen and the other one is as old as me. Well, five days older. OK, now I'm rambling on about my extended family again. OK, now we're going to Megan's so bye!!!

Spring Break

Hey yall I'm at school right now!!! so if I get cut off in the middle of a sentence then that's why. SPRING BREAK IS FINALLY HERE!!! Well, after today anyway. I'm so happy! But even though I love school so much (well, not the learning part, just the friends and the craziness and all), I am so happy that it is over for a while. Obviously. I mean, who isn't. My dad won't let me go on here anymore. It's dumb, though, because its not like I'm doing anything bad on here anyway!!! He should trust me enough to have a blog. But whatevs. Yeah i haven't been on here in a long time, and I kinda miss it!!! Blogging is so fun!!! There's really nothing else to post about... Today we had a movie day and we watched Radio. It was cool because it was a surprise, so we stayed in our first hour classes until lunch, and now I am in study hall, which is after lunch. I'm bored. I want to go back to the classroom now and play cards. Yeah that's pathetic but cards are fun. Bye now!!!

So Sad

I don't have a lot of time and I'm not supposed to be on here so this will be short. But we lost today in the semifinals, against Minneapolis South Central (I think). It was 48-64. Oh well. I'm glad we made it that far. Mr. Downs, a Cougar teacher, is the head coach, so we saw him on TV and that was cool. (We watched the game in seventh hour) We did another bet today. I only agreed to it because Jackie gave me a full pack of Altoids. I couldn't laugh, and every time I did, they asked out two guys for me. Later they changed it to one, but they ended up asking out NINE guys!!!!!!! How cruel!!! (JK. I didn't really care that much.)

Good and Bad Things

Well, there was no bet today... but evil Will is still going to ask out Ryan for me, even though I threw away Louisse's lunch tray so she said I didn't have to ask him out!!! So the bad things first: I HAVE SO MUCH HOMEWORK!!! I have my stupid dumb torturous person pouch, a Reading worksheet, my rough draft for my research paper, and the response sheet from yesterday that I forgot to do in History. I guess that's all the bad stuff... not much, but I am totally dreading all the homework. Now the good things (not all of them are happening today): WE BEAT OSSEO IN STATE QUARTERFINALS!!! Oh yeah!!! For girl's basketball, we beat Osseo in the state quarterfinals. Which is cool, because my cousin goes to Osseo! And so on the bus I called her and she was freaking out and stuff. Also, me and my cousins have the same Spring Break for once, which usually doesn't happen, so I can have them over. And on Saturday I am going to my grandma's for a surprise birthday party for my uncle and all my aunts and uncles and such are going to be there, and I have a ton of aunts and uncles and such, so it will be awesome. Of course, one of my uncles isn't going to be there because he lives in Oregon, but whatever that's like a given. Anyway there's still seven other aunts and uncles plus there husbands and wives and then my cousins of which I have five. Well actually seven, but the other two's parents are divorced and they live with their mom who isn't related to us by blood and plus they're both out of college and they barely come to see us (us, as in my mom's side of the family. And yes, this is all my mom's side. My dad's side has about as much, but we barely see them because they live in Africa). So yeah that's cool and plus I get to see my cousins a week later after that because they're coming to our house for Easter with everybody else (Easter is our holiday. My grandma has Christmas, my aunt has Christmas Eve, my other aunt has Thanksgiving, and any other unplanned get-togethers go to the other five (minus the Oregon uncle) siblings who have whatever they feel like having) Now that you know my whole family tree and our holidays, I think you are bored (and confused) enough. Anyway, that's all the good and bad things, and I don' tknow what else to write, so bye. But please comment everybody!!! (that means you, Louisse and Hayley. It's weird that now I look back at all the stuff that we did in elementary school and it's like wow, i can't believe we didn't have locks on the lockers and wow, we stayed in the same room practically the whole day! It's so weird to think about now, when last year middle school would have been weird to think about. For six years I had been doing the same thing, and now I've been in middle school for less than a year and it seems like I've been doing it forever!!!

The first of many long, torturous days. Spring break better come soon!!! BTW, if you are Will and you are reading this then congratulations you found my blog. Guess what everybody?! I lost another bet!!!!! So me and Louisse were both at five strikes, and in PAC we were talking about ZJ for some reason, and I'm like "He's so weird; he plays like seven instruments." And Louisse started screaming and freaking out and I was like crying cause it was so sad. Well not exactly crying but whatever you know what I mean. Isn't that sooooo sad? Only all my so-called FRIENDS were laughing and rejoicing and saying that this was going to be funny to watch. Thanks a lot, you guys. And you weren't exactly helping me to win. I DON'T WANT TO ASK RYAN OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nooooooooooooooooo............................... I am so sad. I also lost my house key so if any of you find it... please give it to me. And please don't break into my house. (lol) BTW, Hayley said my house was weird and now that I can insult her again, you're house is weird too!!! Oh, yeah, and Will, your gray gym shirt is stupid and I don't really like white shoes!!! (lol you deserved that!!!) And insults to the rest of you that tried to make me lose!!!

Hey yall. Normally I don't post twice a day but I am just sooooooooooooooo bored!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe I'm saying this but I wish it was a school day so at least I'd have something to post about. The town was dead. The once grand City Hall was now dead and dusty and uninhabited. Only a few sagging houses littered the empty streets. The only place with even a hint of life was the Saloon, and even now there was barely anyone there. The bartender, Mr. Frank, polished every glass as if his life depended on it. When even he had to admit that they couldn't be any shinier, he swept the floor, cleaned the bathrooms, wiped the tables. Finally five o' clock rolled around, rush hour in the small town. Of course, rush hour was an understatement. Rush hour was the name for when thirteen children ran home, and the workers at Broker's Tire Factory trudged away after twelve hours of work. It was when the few men who worked on Main Street (at the General Store, at the Lissie's Clothing and Fabric, and at the Rick the Butcher's) went to the Saloon. It mostly stayed quiet, unless, of course, Johnny showed up. Johnny never seemed to have money, but Mr. Frank gave him his whiskey on credit. Of course, he never paid him back, and nobody else understood why the bartender kept on loaning him money. Especially when every time Johnny decided to mosey on over there, he usually stirred up a big enough fight to get himself or someone else locked up for a couple of nights. So when Johnny pushed open the doors to the Saloon that night, Mr. Frank decided that enough was enough. He wanted to find out where Johnny lived, and why he was always so down on money.



OK, that was a sucky ending, but I have to go now so bye bye!!!

Hey everybody I am so bored right now. Jennifer couldn't come over cuz of Girl Scouts and them neither could Meg for the same reason and Louisse couldn't for I don't know why, and so I had Hayley over. Evil People (specifically WILL and LOUISSE)

So sad... I lost the stupid bet! I was hating Colin and all because I was trying so hard not to like him, and then all of a sudden in Reading I looked at him and started to like him. And so I lost the bet. Unfortunately, I stopped liking him a quarter of the way into the next hour, so it was not even worth it. Will is very cruel. In gym Louisse told him to ask Colin out for me, even though I didn't like him (Colin) anymore. So he actually did!!! And Will and Colin were kicking (in kickball) and me and Louisse were in the field, so I saw Will talking to Colin and then they both looked at me and I'm like Oh, crap. So me and Louisse were laughing and then when there were three outs and we switched, we went up to Will and we're like Did you do it? and he's like Yeah, and so I pushed him. Then when we were walking to sixth hour, it was me and Louisse and Annelise and then right behind us was Shane, Hunter, Will and Colin. And Will's like, Look! There's Kayla! to Colin and to me when I turned around he's like Look! There's Colin, even though he knew I didn't like him anymore. So Colin was looking all pitiful and walking with his head down and I felt kinda bad, but it was really really ackward. So then Will was pushing Colin forward saying Walk faster, but wouldn't. Then he's like I think I'm gonna walk faster now, and so he runs ahead of us, but Louisse is like Awww, he likes you, and I'm like No he doesn't, and then Colin turned around and he's like No I don't, seriously, I don't. Then he walked slower again. Then Hunter was being all weird and he's like Kayla, will you give me a makeover? (but of course he was kidding) and he did the same to Annelise and I'm like Hunter you are a strange person. So then me, Louisse, Annelise, Hunter, Shane, Colin, and Will were all walking together and it was actually kinda fun, but of course me and Colin didn't talk to each other because that would have been WAAAAYYYYY too ackward. But then during seventh hour me and Louisse made Will tell Colin that I don't like him, so in the end it was good, unless of course Colin doesn't believe him, but I seriously don't like him. Anyway, bye!!!

Fun Things (actually not really)

So what up ya'll? I am feeling a little down. Hahahahahahahaha. Today was a mixture of really bad and really good. So I have a cold, and I woke up in the middle of the night and COULD NOT fall back asleep. It took me like an hour and a half. Then I forgot my stupid analogies packet, even though I saw it and specifically reminded myself to get it. (it's dumb anyway, who needs it?) So then I was going to ask Mrs. Broz to give me a new one in Hawktime (homeroom), but she's like "Sorry, that's ELEVEN extra sheets that I have to give you. If I gave you one then I'd have to give everyone else one, and that would be a thousand extra sheets." And I'm just like OK, but it's not like everyone else is asking!!! And I don't usually forget stuff in Reading. Why can't she just be a good, kind, caring teacher? So then she actually did end up giving me one in Reading, because we were using most of the class time to work on it and I had nothing to do, but since it is my second copy I am apparently getting points off. Then Meaghan was getting all mad at me because she doesn't like 'a certain friend of mine' and the 'certain friend' gave me a note that was personal and Meaghan was being all mad because I wasn't letting her see it. And she said I was making a big deal out of not letting her see it but I really wasn't it was her because she kept bringing it up. Anyway, Meaghan you are probably reading this right now but don't worry I'm not mad at you anymore. And then at lunch I couldn't eat because I didn't have enough money in my account and I forgot to bring lunch money.
Now for the good things. I lost my house key on Thursday and the office, which is usually not helpful at all in finding things, had it today and I was so happy. Then I got 100% on my math assignment, which doesn't happen often. And in gym I wasn't incredibly terrible at badmitten like I usually am, and I didn't get all tired during the warm up because I pretended to tie my shoe for three of the runs. Actually, I realize now that there are a lot more bad things than good ones, but whatever, the first two good things count for about 2, so it's not off by that much.
I think I will do an exerpt now.

The morning was crisp, and all signs of drowsiness immediately disappeared when I stepped outside. I wished I had brought my jacket, as goosebumps had already erupted on my arms. I hurried down the street, taking care to duck into as many shadows as possible. A bright flash of orange suddenly spilled from behind a hill, and I raised an arm to my face as I bathed in the warmth. Suddenly I heard sirens, and my moment of tranquility was over. I raced to the end of the street. Whipping my head back and forth, I ran across the highway to the woods. Just as I leapt under a bush, a pack of police cars screamed around the corner. I closed my eyes, my heart pounding loudly. Suddenly, the sirens ceased and I heard the cars stop right on the other side of the highway. As quietly as possible, I crawled out from under the bush and into the woods. Running as best as I could while crouched down on the damp ground, I made my way over to a knarled tree. It was blackened and hard, and there was barely any bark on it. I reached inside a small hole and pulled out my backpack. It contained a sweatshirt, flashlight, food, my life savings ($100), and a knife. I yanked the sweatshirt over my head and continued my rushed journey. Behind me I heard running footsteps crossing the road, and I broke into a sprint. I ran down a hill and tripped, bloodying my knee. I reached into the pocket of my cutoffs and pulled out a dollar in change. I wrestled my hair into a ponytail. The bus station was about a block away, and according to my battered old watch, I had exactly a minute to get there. I whipped off my shoes and grabbed them. For some reason, I have always been able to run better in bare feet. The wind picked up, but luckily I was running with it. I skidded into the bus station just as the doors to the giant black machine opened, and with a quick look behind me, I dashed inside.
When I was two my dad left my mom and I to fend for ourselves, with only $600 and a few clothes. My mom managed to get a job and rent an apartment, but for the next eight years I was living without any leisures whatsoever. I went to a shack called a school, where the rooves were actually tin, and the desks were wooden crates and we sat on the floor. When I was ten, my mom got drunk and I never saw her again. I packed up my stuff and went to live in the old abandoned house across town. I grew vegetables in the backyard and even tried (unsuccessfully) to teach myself something every now and again. Unfortunately, I soon found that I was a missing child and the police were looking for me, probably to dump me in some foster home. But who needed them? I could live by myself just fine; I had been for the past two years. I took a backpack full of important stuff and hit the road. Sadly, I was spotted my some jerk who couldn't seem to mind his own business, and then the cops kne I was there in Breezy Point. So there I was, a twelve year old girl on the run from the cops, on her way across the country, living on one hundred dollars and six boxes of granola bars.

Wow, that was long. I gotta go now and work on my stupid analogies homework like I was supposed to be doing this whole time.

Big Foot

big foot is the name of a hill at the skiing place where we went. it is SO AWESOME!!!!!! BTW mrs. peterfeso if you still haven't read it scroll down two posts for my HW. and yeah read the comments please. skiing was so fun! i fell like seven times but whatevs. and one time i couldn't even get up at all and some dude had to help me. dylan g. broke his wrist doing some thing. serves him right he is mean to me, and friday in gym he threw the ball and it hit maddie right in the face!!! anyway i think i will do an exerpt now, sorry if it is short like before. guess i kinda lost it.

The wind stung my red face; my cheeks were numb from rubbing against the snow. I felt like I was flying. I raced past other people, zipping by and weaving in and out. Soon there was a bump in front of me. I was good, but not that good. It was too late though. I couldn't stop. Those who were around me heard my piercing scream. I felt myself fly up into the air, and land back down again with a thud, but after that everything was black.

Just to tell you that did NOT happen to me, because i could barely turn, and i am NOT good at all. anyway bye.

Death Penalties are Wrong

You have probably heard of a death penalty, right? It's where a criminal gets executed by the government instead of going to jail, like they SHOULD. your probably thinking, Oh, sad!!! And you are 100% right. It IS sad, and it's wrong!!!

I think that the death penalties should be stopped! The Constitution is against them, so why do we even HAVE them in our country? Aren't we supposed to FOLLOW the Constitution? And here's a list of ways that they execute criminals:

• Firing Squad (in case you're wondering what that is, I will tell you -with only a little detail! The criminal is tied to a chair. Then a doctor uses a stethoscope to find his heart. The doctor then pins a piece of paper to the criminal's chest in the place where his heart is. After that a man shoots the criminal from a hole in the wall. Horrible, right?)
• Gas chambers (DOESN'T THAT REMIND YOU OF THE HOLOCAUST?)
• Lethal Injection

Google "descriptions of methods of executions" and click on the first one- but be careful, because it is VERY disturbing!

Anyway, sometimes innocent people can even die because there were accused of a crime that THEY DIDN'T COMMIT!!!!!!! Imagine dying for no reason- and because of the GOVERNMENT, who is supposed to PROTECT you from these kinds of injustices!

So, tell everyone you know about the death penalty and how ATROCIOUS it is, and maybe soon it will be gone!

BTW, in case you all were wondering why i am doing this, it's because it is Language Arts homework. Mrs. Peterfeso will be reading it.

hey!!!!!!!!! IT IS MONDAY. you probably knew that, but know waht? i HATE mondays. and mornings. i missed the bus today. and i have so much homework and a ton of other lousy stuff which won't come to my mind at the moment. well, whatever. i have written about today and now i can't think of anything else to write about so whatever. actually, i will do a quick descrption of a summer scene because i want winter to be over SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!

Summer
The sun is blinding me
with its golden white rays
The pavement sears the bottoms of my bare feet
I run across the street,
my feet slapping painfully against the gravel.
Into the backyard
I jump into the hammock
The cool shade of the tree is calling me
I reluctantly drag myself
from the comfortable depths of the hammock
Like a monkey, I shimmy* up the tree
And rest my head against the smooth, cool bark.
I realize my throat is dry.

have you ever experienced that weird feeling at the end of a long period of time? like it went by sssssssoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fast... like you can't believe a year is already over? and then while the year is acutlly going by, it seems like forever! and then since it was going by fast and slow at the same time, you are forced to conclude that it was going by just regular, and the whole comment was pointless in the first place!!!!!! well, i am feeling like that right now! like the week has been like that! but now i am so glad that it is a weekend! only tonight my dad's aunt is coming over and so we are going shopping at an authentic grocery store like where my dad is from and then after that we are going out to eat but that is stupid because we have to pick up my dad from work and my aunt and we are leaving soon and it is sssssssssooooooooo dumb because i really don't want to go and it is wasting my beautiful friday!!! anyway, here's a SHORT exerpt:

I crept quietly through the dark house. The dusty floor was rotting in some places, so i had to squint to watch where i was going. suddenly i heard the low groan of a door opening. the night had been still, so it couldn't have been the wind. I leaped silently to an old bureau and crouched behind it. My breathing seemed to fill the silence with noisy racket, but if i held my breath i would have to let it out, and that would be even louder.
suddenly a dark figure entered the room. the tall shadow looked around cautiosly, making sure that no one was around. suddenly a switch clicked, and the single ray of a warm glow illuminated a few dust particles in the air. i huddled into a ball, hiding my face. with a crash, the figure kicked the bureau aside. being so old, it crumbled, and my hiding place was revealed. i screamed and junped up. with a push, i ran past the stranger, but it grabbed onto my arm. i twisted around, but the already tight grip stiffened, and i yelped in pain. the flashlight fell to the floor and rolled away. a raspy whisper blew a hoarse, stale message into my ear: "come with me or die". i felt the cold metal of a gun, and when the stranger dragged me away, i knew i couldn't resist.

i can't think of a title

it's wednesday...................................................... (in a dreary, monotonous voice) two days until saturday! and then two days until monday... then five till saturday again. yes, good job kayla, you know the days of the week!!!! i am actually freakishly hyper... maybe it wore off because i am being really dreary and sarcastic now... at least on here. anyway i am not quite sure what to write about... hey! i used to know exactly what to write until carrotop said she didn't know what to write! it's all your fault! JK. i guess i will just do a random exerpt.

The diner was one of those old fifties type ones that i love, though i wondered why there was nobody there. The walls were turquoise and there was the front half of a cadillac convertible sticking out of one of them. At the bar there were peach colored stools accented with metal stripes on the sides. The familiar scent of grilling burgers wafted its way to my nose. Tall glasses of malts and shakes sat abandoned on the counter. Suddenly the ground shook with a deafening rumble. A cascade of screams echoed outside and i ran to the window to see what was going on. The malts crashed to the floor and shattered. A few shards of glass hit my ankle and i yelled in pain. My ankles were scattered with bloody cuts, and the floor was a mess of glass and multicolored mush. Then the ceiling started to vibrate. Afraid it was going to fall, i ran under a table and crouched there, waiting. I said a quick prayer and squeezed my eyes shut, awaiting the smash. My heart pounded loudly in my chest and my sweaty hands shook. dust from outside floated in, and soon i was a mess of blood, dust and sweat. suddenly the ceiling crashed.

IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry i missed it last week. i got shots (well, a shot) today and it was pretty cool. not. it didn't actually hurt that much though. i am happy that it is friday. duh. although getting shots on a friday afternoon is sooooo great. not. 2night i am having a typical friday that you would think aobut in like a movie or something (and i mean friday night, not day): pizza and a movie (pirates of the carribean: at world's end) i am excited because someone besides jenjeanne actyually found my blog. she is carrotop. (or he? somehow i am pretty sure you are a she) go to her blog: www.carrotop2710.blogspot.com. and go to jenjeanne's: www.sweetooth2710.blogspot.com know what's weird? they both end in 2710 and they have no idea who they are. at least i think. maybe carrotop goes to my school and i don't even know it, although unless you are lying because it's the internet and you can, i don't think there are any purple haired people in my grade, or my school. i have no list for you today... never mind, yes i do: pizza toppings (heard of and unheard of)

Interesting Things

About the animal testing poll... unless you know a ton about animal testing, you should probably be neutral about the subject. Reseaching stuff about it really helps you to take a side. Even though we just did a project on it in Language Arts, I STILL do't know enough about it to take a side. SNOW!!!!!!! maybe it will snow so much that we won't have school tomorrow... i especially don't want to go since the ski trip is cancelled... the snow would have made it easier to ski, but NO, it's too COLD. jenjeanne you are probably saying that it will NEVER be a snow day because you always say that but almost every year we get snow days in january, february, and sometimes even march. so there!!!! that would be so cool to have a three day week!!! i love waking up on a snow day and watching the news, and then you are wringing your sweaty hands and hoping... hoping... then you watch for the C's and finally... your school!!!! and you jump for joy and wake up your sister and she hits you but then she hugs you because she is so happy that it is a snow day and so are you and then you go outside and play in the glorious life-saving snow until you realize that you are still in your PJ's and you rush inside because it is so cold and then you eat breakfast because you actually have time since there is NO SCHOOL and then your friends call and you go to their house and party like it's your birthday only it's not but pretty close- IT'S A SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!! i seriously hope that it's gonna be a snow day tomorrow becuase based on what i jsut wrote if it isn't i am going to be VERY disappointed. and wow that was a long sentence before. oh yeah, i almost forgot- a list of AWESOME songs:

Me Drooling (and some other things)

I am home sick right now and I was just watch MTV Cribs and this one guy from Nickelback has THE most AWESOME house EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (this would be me drooling) he has a giant shower, an indoor pool with a hot tub and steam shower, an outdoor pool with a bar and the bar seats are in the pool (also, the pool has two levels and the second level has a window underwater for the 1st level to see from the bar). He has literally like thirty fourwheelers/snowmobiles/jetskis/whatever other things like that you can imagine, his OWN STUDIO, a pool table and bar, and a TON of other really cool stuff. sometimes i think the reason they even HAVE that show is to make people like me cry. seriously. my house looks like a shack compared to his!!!!! also, this other guy who i forgot has a home theater with a giant screen and six leather reclining chairs. (he has a bunch of other stuff too, but not as cool as the theater)

I HATE MATH HOMEWORK!!!!!!!

guess what day it is???

IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i am especially happy beacause one thing i hate is coming back to school after a break!!! And i am SO tired and my hand hurts and i feel a little sick (which is stupid because i wanted to get sick today, but in the MORNING, so i didn't have to go to school today, but no, i am going to be sick for the weekend, instead. that's what i get!!!) but the zoey 101 movie is on tonight, the one where she might leave (even thought i know it's so obvious why, because jamie lynn spears is pregnant!!! so obviously she has to leave), and it is on at 7 and 8 (i have 2 nick channels), and so if i watch it at either time, i will still be able to watch fashionably late (this awesome show by stacy london, a cohost of What Not To Wear, a show i also love, and it is sooooooo cool i like when she goes place to see how they make stuff or whatever. and last time she made ginormous (why doesn't anybody say egantic?) cookies and it was sweet. anyway, the show is on on fridays at nine.)!!!!!

i am proud to say that i did EVERY SINGLE one of the things that were on the list (even covering my face in something (chocolate sauce), and running across the yard and back barefoot!!! except a) i didn't go around the block in shorts, a tshirt, and flip flops because that was optional anyway and my dad said i couldn't, and b) i drank sparkling juice instead of a sip of wine. oh well, that's ok, because i didn't HAVE to do any of those things anyway. and those things are very self-finding type find your inner self and such (yes that sounds stupid but i is very true. i swear.)

~run up and down the stairs for 5 minutes straight

~walk around the block in a t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops (this is optional but you get extra points for doing it (not literal points, i just mean that you feel better inside))

~throw some confetti

~if you are allowed to, have a sip of wine at midnight

i am eating vanilla ice cream right now... i haven't had it in soooo long... and i forgot how wonderfully deliciously smoothly sweetly FABULOUS it is. i have decided to write a poem about ice cream... or else maybe an ode. or both. anyway, i'm feeling really weird today. you may have noticed.

BORED!!!

sorry; this post will be short like usual these days... but i am SO BORED!!!!!!!! i mean, you'd think that after xmas i wouldn't be bored at all, since i got a bunch of stuff (including a digital camera!!!!). but, no, I am bored out of my mind. there is actually a ton of stuff to do, but a) it requires more than one person, b) i've already done it, or c) i don't feel like doing it. have you ever felt like that? of course you have. anyway, gtg now, sorry for the short post again; i will try to write more next time. bye!!!

Hey yall it's xmas eve day! anyway i am exerpting now. starting with the last sentence of the last exerpt.

She looked quizzically at him for a moment, then answered, "Destroy it."

Troi sat alone on the seat of the train. Bria and Horstt stood up and came over to him.
"Hey," he mumbled. He pushed his ear-length, dusty blond hair out of his green eyes. "What's up?" Troi motioned for his friends to sit down.
"Nothing,"!" Horstt sad, looking out the window. "We're there!"
The train jerked to a heavy stop. Troi and his friends stood up and exited the train.
Before the was a lush green land flooded with light. A blanket of trees stretched across a wide expanse of the land. Behind the forest was a glittering turquoise sea, spreading out across the blue horizon until its edges kissed the bright sky. A golden sun shon above, and there was not a cloud in sight. This was Troi's paradise.

hey yall

Hi everybody. jenjeanne is over right now she said that i should say hey yams and yesterday i had sweet yams and they were pretty good. and even though jenjeanne is saying that yams are bad for my cholesteral or peoples cholesterol or whatever, i've heard that they are supposed to be really really good for you. or maybe that's sweet potatoes. I LOVE SWEET POTATOES!!!!!! especially with brown sugar and pecans on top. anyway, megabomb is over too and we are being insane laughing freaks like we usually are. but that is just us. jenjeanne is messing with her cell phone and she is worrying if she will be charged for something or other. I WANT A CELL PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! megabomb, being the meanie that she is, says jenjeanne should blame the charging on the phone on me but jenjeanne says that her mom is not that stupid. (but jenjeanne is!!) (just kidding!!!) I really want to see national treasure. please comment on it and rate it out of 5 (if you are stupid then i will say that 1 is low and 5 is high. but you're not that stupid. right?) anyway. ok, i realize that that title is a little weird, but oh well. anyway, i was minding my own business, looking at other blogs, when what should i come across but 3- yes, THREE!- supposedly "inspirational" blogs. and ok, i guess they were a little inspiring, but i mean seriously, when i want inspiration, I want it now!!! so, i have decided to comppose a list of inspiring things/songs/books/artworks, etc.

I am bored

I went to the parade. it wasn't THAT cold, but whatever. by the way, gee, THANKS FOR VOTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not. anyway, i don't have much to write....... other than the usual random babbling... BTW, i ended up NOT going to the dumb movie... whatever gtg

I have to spend like a ton of money though because I have too many friends. In language arts (yes, for real this time) we are supposed to do a reflection on this activity that we did in class about integrity. it should be half fun half not so fun. tonight we are going downtown to see the parade and the Nutcracker show. It is ssssssssssoooooooo dumb because I am going to freeze my butt off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am trying to convince my mom to let us stand in a skyway but she thinks that it will be too packed. Well, if it is packed then you are warmer, aren't you???????????????? What happens if it is too cold? she doesn't seem to care about that, does she? And she won't even let me stay home. She says if I don't go and we all have to stay home like last year, I won't be able to go to the movie tomorrow! but i said just let me stay home alone!!! BUT SHE WON'T LET ME!!!!!!!!!!! I'M GOING TO BE MISERABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M GOING TO FREEZE!!!!!!! it's like we haven't see the parade like ten times!!!! It hasn't changed so why do we have to go again? why do I have to go again??? it's like she WANTS to torture me!!! I swear, that woman sometimes...

My friend Megabomb is talking weird randomness... sounds like someone I know... ME!!!! Now she is talking about a freaky thing where you talk to dead people. I don't feel like exerpting today... once again, sorry devoted readers (where am I getting this hopeless idea that people are obsessed with my writing?) I am secretly on the computer right now... my mom is outside and whenever she comes in I pretend to look up language arts homework... I am sssssssssssssoooooo sneaky!!! OK, I gotta go now because I don't feel like typing anymore... it hard on the floor (I am on the floor because it is harder for my mom to see me from the doorway here and by the time she gets upstairs to see me I will be able to bring up the "language arts research") Anyway... bye now.

IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (for the time being) i'm free!!!!! (well, at least until Monday, when i'll have to drag my poor self out of bed ssssssssssooooooooooooooooo early and trudged tiredly into the freezing cold, where i will sit and wait to reach my dreaded destination. but let's not think about that now.) anyway, despite my newfound period of freedom, i will stick to my promise of writing more, so as not to disappoint all you who are reading my fabulous story (yah right!)

god, what is with me??? i am writing all weird and formal and such!!! and dramatic!!!!!!! well, i suppose (what's up with that?) that i talk like this; all dramatic and overeggerative and all, but still, i mean i NEVER write like this!!! well, whatever. so, i will start with the last sentence of the most recent exerpt:

A bolt of electricity shot from the Queen's blackened fingertips, and the man crumpled to the floor, lifeless.
"Bloka!" the Queen called. A frail-looking man scurried into the room. His eyes flickered nervously to the corpse on the ground, but then he answered his Queen dutifully,
"What is it, Queen Elissa?" He tried his luck, smiling meekly at her, but his grin faded as it met her cold stare.
"Dispose of the vermin. You may do it as you wish, but I never want to hear of him again."
Bloka nodded and bent to pick up the body. His glance landed on the thin chain around Saar's neck that matched his own.
"His binding...?" he asked the Queen.
She looked quizzically at him, the answered, "Destroy it."

BTW, most of my writing, especially stuff that isn't from this year is actually quite bad... at least compared to stuff i write now... i mean, it is SO much better than stuff from last year!!! i wish more people would comment... that means you if you are reading this right now!!!! that exerpt was the beginning of the story... i will write the next thing after that, but i will start with the last sentence of the other exerpt

She ran quickly and silently away, following the twisting road into the horizon and out of sight.

"Do you have the Pendant?" a chilling voice said. A hooded figure sat in a black throne. Before her knelt a man, shaking with fear. "No, Your Majesty," the man replied. He raised his head slightly as if to make eye contact, then quickly lowered it again.

"Why?" the Queen demanded. She pounded her clenched fist on the arm of the chair.
"There were certain... difficulties... A powerful king of a faraway kingdom is in posession of it. It proved near impossible to take is from him."
The Queen smiled. "And who might this regal king be?" She smiled wider, so wide that her lips disappeared and her eyes flashed.
"King Roiter of Shargesty," the man answered.
"You have failed me, Saar, and thus you are useless to me.
The man's face contorted into a wrinkle of confusion and fear. The Queen raised her hand, and the man lifted his arm as if to shield his face, but it was in vain. A blot of blue electricity shot from the Queen's blackened fingertips, and the man crumpled to the floor, lifeless.

A girl, about twelve, sat alone in a dark corner. Her dark chesnut hair hung in her face. She was staring into the distance, a lost look in her emerald green eyes. A look of hopelessness, of fear. The girl stood. She was wearing white knee-length shorts and a green tank top.

The girl uttered a single, inaudible word. Her voice was hoarse and raspy, and she sounded desperate. Tears glistened in her eyes, quivering in place before cascading down her face. She ran quickly and silently away, following the twisting road into the horizon and out of sight.
