Early Morning.

So, I had a softball tournament today, so i got up at like 7 (okay i was lazy and it was like 7:30 but whatever) and got all ready for softball even though it was raining and nasty, because the softball people didn't have the courtesy to call earlier and inform us that it was cancelled, so of course just as I get my cleats tied and stand up straight, I get a text saying that our tournament is cancelled. So, now its nine in the morning and the rest of my family is in bed, and I'm sitting on the couch blogging. And you know, as much as i hate getting up early, once you're up, being awake in the early morning is fun. Although I wouldn't call nine very early. But I don't know, I like the lighting, and it's all quiet and you can hear the outside and the rain and I just like it. When I was little I used to get up at six or so during the summer, and sit on the carpet next to my deck door, because the sun would be rising and fill the entire area with sunlight and it was really warm. So I would be half asleep and sitting on the warm sunlit carpet and idk, it was fun. I remember doing that. And since it was morning it would be all quiet, and since I was little and I never slept in, I would eat breakfast outside on the deck right away and then get ready and be out in the backyard playing by eight o clock. I still remember being a little kid really well. Like before I was in kindergarten. The house would be all clean because my mom would be cleaning and she would have music on and me and my sister would dance around while my mom cleaned, and then we would eat lunch. Or else, on other days, we would go to the Excelsior library (because the Chan one sucked in those days) and listen to storytime and then get lots of books, and sometimes we would go to the bakery in Excelsior that was right next to the library (it's closed now) and get a cookie or a donut or something, and I still remember perfectly, coming home and it was all sunny and we would jump out of the blue van and run inside and read our new books while my mom made lunch, and after lunch we would maybe watch a movie if we got one at the library, and then we would go play outside or something. I remember all that perfectly, which is weird because really I was only like four or younger. And Lydia was two. Agh, sometimes I wish I was little kid again. Before kindergarten. It was so easy; we didn't have to do anything and it was all just fun fun fun all the time. And plus, little kids don't need much to be happy. Just sunny carpets and new library books and music and lunchtime.

my favorite movies.

harry potter, all of them. to compare the amazingness of harry potter to other movies, just think of the mass of the nucleus compared to the electron cloud. and harry potter is the nucleus. or else the size of the electron cloud compared to the nucleus, and then harry potter is the electron cloud. yes. i made a physics/chemistry reference.

the rest are not in any order. except mulan cuz thats my favorite besides harry potter.

mulan
charlie and chocolate factory (not willy wonka and the chocolate factory. that ones dumb.)
the cat in the hat
the grinch
aladdin
national treasure (only the first one)
pirates of the caribbean. all of them.
matilda
the jungle book
juno
nick and norahs infinite playlist
whip it

hercules
shrek
mrs doubtfire.
narnia.

The Countdown Has Begun.

Now that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 has come out on DVD and Blu-ray, the only Harry Potter thing left to count down for is THE END. As in, Part 2. Exactly 3 months left. 90 days. And only eighty-eight until our Harry Potter party. On July 13th. *Excitement* We're gonna have butterbeer and chocolate frogs and bertie bott's every flavor beans and watch harry potter one through 4 on july thirteenth and sleep over and on the next day we're gonna watch 5 through 7 and then avpm and avps and then at 8 pm we're gonna go to the theater to wait in line. we might have to go at seven actually. and we will be dressed in full harry potter garb yes i said garb and while we wait in line we will engage in harry potter trivia, play harry potter scene it, listen to harry potter music, and, of course, eat more food. and then we will watch PART 2 at midnight and it will be fun. the story of yourmom.

chapter 1. yourmom.

once upon a time there was a little boy named yourmom. yourmom liked to play games and so one day he was playing a game when all of a sudden there was an earthquake. yourmom tried to run away but he did not prevail. so,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, he fell into the middle of the earth.

chapter 2.THE MIDDLE OF THE EARTH
so. yourmom woke up from being knocked out from falling in the middle of the earth, and looked around and he was all, hey, im in the middle of the earth. wouldja lookat that. so then he just kinda chilled in the middle of the earth for a while.

chapter 3. the middle of the earth isnt as fun as it seemed at first.
yourmom was chilling in the middle of the earth, minding his own business, when all of a sudden he realized it was pretty dang hot there. at first he thought he had a fever or something similar as a result of his many injuries sustained from falling hundreds of miles through the earths crust and mantle. then he realized that the source of the heat was not, in fact, a fever, but instead the giant flaming ball of molten earth that sat just a few meters away. (hereby known as, THE CORE.)

chapter 4. escape of THE CORE.
so as not to be roasted alive like a hot dog, yourmom ran as fast as he possibly could away from THE CORE, so fast that he ran right up the side of the giant trench that he was in, all the way up the hundreds of miles that he had fallen. when he finally reached the top, he saw, to his great confusion, that by some unexplainable phenomenon the trench led not to where the earthquake had happened (his home of yourmomland, kentucky) but instead to a remote island off the coast of burma.

chapter 5. life on the remote island off the coast of burma.
now, yourmom was what is known as a perceiver, and a very extreme one. he didn't ever question what happened to him; he just went with the flow no matter what (unless, of course, he was about to be burned by THE CORE.) so when he saw that this remote island off the coast of burma was inhabited by a strange tribal people with golden skin and tall jet-black mohawks, he decided that this was the life for him, and resolved to spend the rest of his days on the remote island off the coast of burma. he roasted the meat of the chingchongallamasaur, a large, tasty animal specific to only that island. he drank coconut milk, and also bathed his skin in it so as to acheive a nice, golden tan like that of the native people, but not to get skin cancer. with the help of the natives, he styled his hair daily in their fashion, using the jelly of the jellyfish to get it to stay straight up. he became strong and wiry as the result of much tree climbing, and made friends with the locals that were close to his age.

chapter 6. the end.
and so ends the story of yourmom, the poor boy who was caught in an earthquake and then found himself experiencing and loving a new way of life with new friends and new family. never did he miss his old home, his old friends, or even his mother. after being accepted into the native tribe as one of their own, and choosing a wife to bear him sons, he lived out the rest of his days as an old man, telling his story to his children, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren until he died.

THE END.

i've been out of it.

so, i haven't been in the internet in a week, on account of my being in south carolina, and as a result of that, there is much to be done and emails to be checked on this here internet now that i'm finally on it again. i dont know how crabstickz managed to stay off of the internet for a month. because while that may not have been that hard, once he got back on he mustve had literally millions of messages waiting for him. speaking of hard things, i didn't work out at all over spring break, and that made going back to softball even harder than usual. but, it wasn't so bad. and since i sold lotsa stuff, i get a free sweatshirt, two of those cards that i sold, that i can either keep or sell and keep the money, and also i got to do this money draw thing where you pull money out of a bag and see what you get. i got ten bucks, and there were mostly five, some tens and twenties, one fifty, and one hundred. so, while it wasn't the best i couldve gotten, it also wasnt the worst, and now i have ten bucks that i didnt have before. i'll probably be using that, along with the money from those cards that i do plan to sell, to buy one of the team sweatshirts (different than the one i got for free, obviously), because they're $59 plus five for a name on the side or 15 for a name on the back, which is crazy but they are pretty cool and also really warm and i want one sooo yeah. REMIND ME TO GET MONEY FOR BRAD TOMORROW so i don't have to spend the whole day avoiding him like i did today. that was bad.

it was weird today, because i pretty much just got off the plane and went straight to school, and there i was, sitting in chemistry, thinking, two hours ago i was on a plane coming back from 70 degree sunny weather. by now it feels like that was a week ago, definitely not today. crazy how time flies. already we only have 46 school days left. i remember mrs petersen telling us about those grad writing tests that we would have on april 12, and that seemed so far away, and now it's like right here. craziness. crazy craziness. before we know it we'll be fifty, i swear. anyway, i got pretty tan in south carolina, but it pretty much faded already which is a bummer. although my stomach is still pretty tan, and all i wanted was to not be crazy pale in the beginning of the summer like usual, and now in the summer i can just get super tan. yeah. good. now, my wrist hurts and i planned for this post to be short but that never works out does it. bye.

my sentiments.

sentiments is just a fancy word for thoughts, just sayin.

i really should start packing for south carolina on account of we're leaving in two days.

i need to know more british people.

i actually briefly considered making a twitter. then i went to the website and i was like ehh..no.

impossible things are happening every day.

sneaking around school after hours isn't actually as badass as it seems.

mrs schommer is the only teacher that gave me homework over spring break. thats cool i guess.

the snow was almost gone and now its back.

i have 1126 hilariouses on grouchy rabbit. dont judge me. allow me to be excited.

mylifeisaverage is less cool because everything thing is the same now and nearly all of it is made up.

i wish people at our school were british.

married women with children shouldnt kiss high school kids, even if it is only acting.

people our age are not attractive. people attractive are not our age.

it better be warm in south carolina.

we are gonna fight. and we are gonna fight so hard, that we are gonna win.

its 10:01.

i was watching harry potter yesterday and i fell asleep and missed the last hour of it.

i honestly for real think that i have some kind of psychic ability. no joke.

power is not a name. even though some guy is named power. weird.

i want to watch shrek now.

SUCCESS IN THE FORM OF GROUCHYRABBIT.

This is what I submitted: (and got published)

Fact:
Friends are like trees, they fall down when you hit them multiple times with an axe.

I realized that they changed it, because I said Friends are like trees. They fall down when you hit them multiple times with an axe. Actually, we were both wrong; it should've been a semicolon. Like, Friends are like trees; they fall down when you hit them multiple times with an axe. Anyway. Here is the email they sent me:

Dear you,
So we got your submission, and we liked it so much we printed it and hung it on our bedroom wall, creepy or adorable? Can't it be both? Tell your mom and dad, so they can finally have a reason to start being proud of you. Tell your grandma too, because who else is going to talk to her today?
You can find your submission by clicking here: grouchyrabbit.com/permalink.php?viewid=11811 or by searching the site.
What now? The best submissions get tweeted to our followers at twitter.com/grouchyrabbit and published to our Facebook page at facebook.com/grouchyrabbit. Follow us, but only if you smell nice and promise to laugh at our jokes. See you on the internetz.
Sincerely,
The Grouchy Rabbit
P.S. You can reply to this email if you want to send us a note or to just say hi. P.P.S. Creepers need not apply.

Ahahahahah the grouchyrabbit people are amazing. Anyway, that is all. Bye.

Good Things

I like lists, okay? It's a much easier and quicker way to say what I'm thinking than actually writing and describing with paragraphs and sentences. It can be totally unstructured if I want; one bullet can be one word while the next one is a seven-sentence paragraph. Lists just make things easier. The following is a list of things that are good/whatever else comes to mind while I am writing it.

  • classical music. it's so underrated, especially among people our age. really, you should find a composer that you like and listen to some stuff. i listen to it while i'm doing my homework because it helps me focus and i don't get distracted by singing along with the lyrics (because there are none). plus its just so beautiful. like some of it is like slow and sweet and then later it's crazy and powerful and makes you want to take over the world and be russian. idk. thats just how it makes me feel.
  • summer.
  • nice days.
  • having things in common with people. i love when you do or like or know something unique and then you find someone else that knows it too and and you're like no way! we have something in common!
  • ceramics. i hate when those sayings or proverbs are right, but when they say 'dont judge a book by its cover' or just dont judge things before you've tried them, they're telling the truth. i thought i would hate ceramics, but it's actually my favorite class right now. after band of course.
  • making people happy. i love making people happy! like just telling them good news or whatever and then they get all happy and youre like ahaha. or giving them stuff. i wish i had a million dollars just so i could buy everybody i know something that they really want and they can be happy.
  • being me. sometimes i look at other people and im like, wow, im jealous i wish i could be them (for some reason or another) and then three seconds later im like wait wait wait no i dont i like being me too much! not that i like think im awesome or something, i just like my life and im glad im me so i can have my life and not somebody else's. if that makes any sense at all because i dont think it does.
  • playing a piano with a pedal on it.
  • eating raspberries out of the garden. when they actually grow.
  • mangoes.
  • knowing how to spell. im glad i know how to spell because i cant stand when people dont know how to spell and if i was one of those people i think i would go crazy and like have to go put my head in a box until i died.
  • crepes. i wish the entire universe could just experience the glory of crepes right now. they are so delicious.
  • spontaneity. as in, i like doing things spontaneously.
  • softball. i am so excited for softball to start it is just not even funny it needs to start right now. right now. i cant even be in mr coenens room because now he has this frame with different softball pictures and it just makes me want to play softball so badly. during the season im always lazy and i dont want to go to practices and stuff, but then when the season ends i realize how much i absolutely love it.
  • bonfires. im having a bonfire as soon as this dang snow melts and it's warm. and you're all invited. (whoever 'you all' are.)
  • traveling. going to places i've never been before. as in, not south carolina.
  • the name charlotte. i dont know why but i've always liked that name.
  • strawberries.
  • freeziac.
  • liks unlimited.
Okay, that's the end of my list for now; I'm getting too distracted by the intense violin-ing that's going on in the song I'm listening to. Bye.

By the way. I was thinking. If my name wasn't Raisa, what do you think it would be? And Milica don't say Raisin because I'll come to your house and kill you. Especially since I know where you live. I used to be able to see myself as a Lilly, but not anymore. I can't think of anything. I don't think I can imagine myself as anything but Raisa. Anyway. Bye.

Just Some Thoughts. About Life.

Only hang on, before I tell you my thoughts about life I would like to inform you of the life-changing event that happened at approximately seven o clock last night:
I am now the proud owner of my very own Canadian!
His name is Andrew, he is sixteen years old, and he lives in Winnipeg.
Yeah. Bet YOU don't own a Canadian. That's right.

Anyway. Time for thoughts. About life. You'll have to wait just a moment while I ponder them again, because in my excitement about my Canadian, I seem to have forgotten what I was going to say.

Oh! While I ponder my thoughts about life, I would also like to tell you that I am going to South Carolina for spring break, and altough SC wasn't my ideal spring break destination, it is a nice change from Minnesota and I am quite excited to go. Also, Will is going there as well, so I decided I'm gonna meet him at the airport. I've never been to the airport in South Carolina. I wonder if it's nice. I went to the one in North Carolina and from there we drove to Myrtle Beach which is where we're going. According to my Canadian, MSP airport is 'huge'. I always thought it was just regular sized...ANYWAY, I'm getting way off topic, so back to pondering thoughts.

Okay I remember them now. One of them is spurred (don't laugh at my word choice) by some of the nerd drama at school. And according to, ahem, some people, interfaith marriages don't work. Which is just a fail of the theory, because yes they do. I know from experience! (No, I was not the married one. Shutchurmouth. shutcha mouth ya damndirtywhore. ahahaha crabstickz) And for real, if you like a person enough, you're not gonna care what religion they are. Especially if they're just different sects of Christianity! I mean, seriously, you can't just go through your life ruling out any potential spouse right away, just because they're not the same type of Christian as you! I mean, if it's a completely different religion, then it's somewhat a little more understandable (although I still don't agree). But you can't just see some person that you might want to date, and start talking to them, and find out they're Lutheran and you're like, Presbyterian, and then be like, oh, guess I'm not gonna date you, since your beliefs are slightly varied from mine. I mean, seriously, it's Christianity! It's the same main idea, and main belief, with some different ideas and traditions that separate each sect. So really, some people (HINT) really just need to get over some stuff. Anyway. That's all I have to say about that.

New order of business: I'm about ready for it to be spring now. I'm kinda sick of wearing my jacket, and the snow is all nasty and dirty, and I want to go outside because the bear has awakened (as in, I'm done hibernating) and also I want to play softball. So either spring will come earlyish (as in this week or sometime similar) or the month of March will be mericfully fast so that April showers can bring May flowers and May flowers can bring summer. Not that I'm especially eager for school to end. I do want it to be summer, but there are certain things that need to be done during the school year that I haven't done yet.

Well, anyway, those are all the thoughts that I have to share today, and I didn't feel like doing a Challenge Madness cuz I'm lazy so you should just get over it. Anyway bye.

30 Day Challenge Madness DAY 3

Make a collage. Collages are so fun. Just like pick a theme or something and go find some stuff and cut it out and put it together on something. Here's some ideas:

dont just put it on paper. put it on like the cover of a notebook, or your door, or something. idk be creative.
dont cut a vague circle around whatever youre cutting. if you cut precisely around whatever youre cutting, it looks cooler.
use big colorful pictures for a background to put other stuff on. for example like a giant flower or something. start with that and then put smaller more detailed pictures on top.
dont use bottled glue. use a glue stick or else tape. tape fixes everything. unless you dont like the way it looks, in which case use a glue stick.
use a combination of words and pictures, but try to use more words than pictures because it ends up looking better than if it was just a giant pile of words.
theme ideas:
stuff you like
outside stuff
summer
winter
fall
spring
music
vintage
people
cities
words
your mom

so, do what you want. bye now. i'll probably do another one tomorrow unless i for some reason don't have time which i probably will, so unless you want to get behind on your challenges, you might wanna do this soonish. also! if you would like, unless you're too lazy which you probably are, take a picture of the collage and put it on your blog. k? k. bye.

30 Day Challenge Madness DAY 2

I decided that I actually have a life, and I'm not going to post every single day, so you will have more than one day to complete each Challenge Madness. Anyway, this is Day 2.

Today's Challenge Madness is a virtual treasure hunt! Follow the clues! Or, follow the URLs that lead you to the clues. It's harder than it sounds.

1. http://trophymama.blogspot.com/?expref=next-blog

post the final link in the comments. have fun. its harder than it looks.

30 Day Challenge Madness DAY 1

Okay from today until Friday March 25, you will have a daily challenge full of madness (okay well it won't really be full of madness but whatever.). And you don't have to do it, but if you do the Challenge Madness then you can't just only do the ones that you like and skip the other ones. Just do all of them. They won't be intense or embarrassing or whatever, just do them. Oh, and I'll give you the challenge on one day, and it'll be for the next day. So today's, you do tomorrow. So the Challenges Madnesses will be until the 25th but the last Challenge Madness you do will be on the 26th. Anyway. CHALLENGE MADNESS TIME.

DAY 1
So. For the entire day that you are awake, every hour, on the hour, in one notebook or on one piece of paper or whatever, you have to write down where you are, what you're doing, and who you're with. And maybe what you're talking about, if it's interesting. idk. Just describe the situation. Hopefully it's entertaining. Anyway, then the next day, after you finish it, post it on my bloggity blog in the comments. Okay? Okay. I'll do them too so you don't feel left out lol. K bye.

Things

In case you're bored on the weekend, here are some things you can do.

build a fort. make sure you bring your snuggie, hot chocolate, and laptop for to read dearblankpleaseblank with.

bake something random like a cake. anyone can bake chocolate chip cookies, but not everyone can make a creme brulee. which, incidentally, means burned cream in french. just a little tidbit of knowledge. anyway, the funnest baking sessions are ones that take like three hours.

watch harry potter. it always makes you feel better. no matter what. even just the opening music will make you feel good. its just so amazing.

text someone who you dont usually text or havent texted in a while and have a conversation that is not..erm..standard. idk. just be original.

go crazy with paper and scissors and make a bunch of colorful snowflakes and then hang them up all over your house. your family will wonder what is wrong with you but it will be funny because you'll have colorful snowflakes all over your house.

play video games. like mario. or something. idk. video games are fun. if you choose the right ones.

go on one of the following websites:
my life is average
dearblankpleaseblank
grouchy rabbit
unrelated captions
average texts from last night
the oatmeal
people of walmart
youtube
average wizard
omegle (NOTE: user discretion is strongly advised when using omegle, as it is highly addictive and also sometimes slightly scarring.)

go bug your brother or sister. this is quite fun. but also might get you in trouble so be careful.

go on a walk. only, walks are only fun when they are shared with others, otherwise you just look like a lonelyloner.

do your homework. hahahahahahaha just kiddinggg i would never tell you to do your homework.

creep on people. go ahead. you know you want to.

call your grandma. idk. im running out of ideas, okay? idk, maybe you shouldnt call your grandma, because something tells me that would be kind of awkward.

okay well i cant think of anything else, if you actually are bored and you actually dont know what to do, go lie on you bed and stare at the ceiling. thats what i do.

How To Acheive Maximum Nerdiness in a Short Amount Of Time

This post is brought to you directly by a world-renowned professional nerd. Me. Make sure to follow these steps carefully. For best results, pair instructions with large, magnifying eyeglasses, jeans that are much too tight in the hindquarters, and tshirts purchased at your various nerdy activities.
  1. The first part of becoming a nerd involves giving up all interest and hope in talking to the 'popular' people. Not that anyone would want to anyway, but if becoming 'popular' was a prior goal of yours, please come to terms with the fact that this will never happen at this time. You are now ready to begin phase two.
  2. Now, it is time to start enrolling in as many nerdy extracurriculars as possible. A few suggestions are, but are not limited to: Science Bowl, Quiz Bowl, Knowledge Bowl, Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Drama, Anime Club,  or Chess Club. Feel free to investigate other options at your school. Also, it is recommended that you choose at least three of these to fully consider yourself a nerd. And remember, the more the better.
  3. Once you have joined all of these activities, it will be hard to find time for a social life. This is exactly the outcome we want. If, by some miracle, you do find time for hanging out with friends, you will need to fill up this empty space as soon as possible. You might want to head to your nearest Target or Walmart and pick up a few video games such as Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Sonic, De Blob, Animal Crossing, Star Wars, Nazi Zombies, or any Lego games. While you're at it, you might want to purchase a few classic nerdy movies, like Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, or The Matrix. Spend most of your time either playing these games, watching these movies, or knitting. On Friday nights, watch old movies with your siblings while drinking green tea. Finally, if someone does ask you to hang out, and you actually do have time, make sure to use the tried-and-tested excuse that you're going loafer shopping with your mother.
  4. Now, you, like any good nerd, will need a collection of some type. Action figures or figurines of some type work best, but some other ideas are corks, beanie babies, anime books, bottle caps, technology, or dried flowers. Make sure to display them in a highly visible part of your room, and to spend at least a few hours a week arranging and rearranging your collection.
  5. The last thing you will need to make your nerddom complete is a hobby. You should spend a couple of hours every day on this hobby, even if it means not finishing your AP Chemistry homework. Your hobby should be the epitome of your nerdiness, accenting both your choice of extracurricular activity and your use of your free time. For example, if you are in Science Bowl and spend your Friday nights watching Star Trek reruns, your hobby should be something along the lines of experimenting with chemicals or building robots. Other hobby ideas are building model airplanes, watching college lectures on YouTube, playing the oboe or tuba, sewing, fixing calculators or other technological items, or designing software.
Once you complete all five of these steps, you will be a full-time nerd. Make sure that you flaunt every aspect of your nerdiness to all who will listen, and most of those who will not listen. Under no circumstance should you give up your nerdiness; be proud to be a nerd. Remember, sticks and stones may break your bones, but words will never hurt you. And you will probably be the boss of that kid who shoved your head in the toilet today, so while it may hurt for a while now, we'll see who's laughing in twenty years.

A Listening Experience

So, as you read this post, you're going to right click on the following link and listen to this song while you read. It's classical music. Okay. Just do it. Just listen.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCEDfZgDPS8

We're playing it in band, but not this version; this is the real version and we're only playing a shorter arrangement. Anyway just listen. It's what I've been doing my homework to for the past three days straight.

I saw Bush at the super bowl. And Cameron Diaz. Yeah. I was like, zomg! It's Bush! yeah man. I said zomg.
today i made losts of playlists on my ipod. one was songs that put me to sleep, as in i can listen to at 2 am and they won't ruin the chill mood that i'm in. another one is cute little lovey songs. nevershoutnever was on that playlist the most. and the last one was a summer/friday afternoon/i-have-a-lot-of-energy-these-slow-songs-arent-gonna-bring-me-down playlist.

my dumbledore eulogy is quite good if i do say so myself. welll, actually i dont know if it was really good, per se, more like it was quite enjoyable to write. because it was about dumbldore. anyway, meaghan felt the need to write all over it because she is that cool. but dont worry meaghan. i disregarded your many notes and all the stuff you crossed out. Oh! for your information, you crossed out every single comma on like two of the pages. just in case you wanted to know that. which im sure you already knew because you did it.

anyway. i went to snuffys malt shop a few weeks ago, and discovered, to my utter amazement, that malts are really good. i thought i didnt like them, but i guess malts are quite different from malted milk balls...who woulda thought. whoppers, the candy ones you know? yeah those are nasty. but malts are amazing. theyre pretty much just milkshakes. i had a strawberry one. strawberry is my favorite kind of ice cream i think. i like the basic kinds like vanilla strawberry cherry blahblahblah.

know how i said i was okay with it being january? well now its not january. and i wish it would hurry up and be spring. i like spring. im excited. i keep listening to songs that make me want to be outside in springy weather, which is quite impossible on account of its snowy and cold. so if it could kindly hurry up and be spring, that would be nice. plus since i completely neglected the trampoline for pretty much all of last year, i kinda want to go on it now, but i cant until its spring.

so. i made butterbeer over the weekend. it was really really really good. it was super rich though. i dont know how they can drink it regularly in the three broomsticks and wherever and not be really full because it was difficult for me to drink one glass. ali didn't like it because it was too rich and he didnt drink his, so me and lydia are calling him a muggle now. hes not reacting, but hes thoroughly offended deep down. i can tell.

so i found something out today, and its that cho chang is a year above harry. i didnt know that. im surprised.

so i sneakily told my dad to buy a pint of cream at cub for my butterbeer, even though i figured i most likely wasn't going to need all that much, so now we have all this heavy whipping cream and i think its time to do some whipping. real whipped cream is the best. i just need to make something to put it on first. maybe ill make some pie.

well, im done now, i think im gonna go read harry potter (im in the middle of the 5th one again. for the 6th time. i think. maybe the 7th or 5th. idk. around there) or drink hot chocolate or take a shower or watch tv or make a pie. one of those. either way im leaving so bye and i hope you listened to that song because classical music is good too and not many people our age listen to it. well. bye.

awkward conversations

so, i have a lot of conversations, which you know. and a large fraction of these conversations are really really awkward. and usually the awkward conversations are with the same people. as in every time i talk to them its really awkward. and it makes me laugh afterward, because, idk, thats what awkward conversations do, they make me laugh. but anyway yeah i was just thinking today how i have a lot of those. and i laughed. for example, i was talking to [insert name here] today and theyre like 'hi raisa' and im like 'hi [insert name here]' they were like my legs are really sore. and i was like thats unfortunate and we were talking about running blahdiblahdiblah and they go but my butt is the most sore and im like...okay...my butt doesnt get sore from running. and theyre like, yeah, you dont want to experience it. and walk away. i was like, okay. that was weird. actually most of the time that i am talking to that person its a pretty weird conversation. ahaha. and other people too. like [insert other name here] who always feels the need to sit on me or stare at me when they see me. lets just say, this year i have met a lot of awkward people. either that or i just got more awkward this year and its me and not them. that would explain a lot more. anyway. thats all i have to say about that. bye.

oh. and also, i realized that another large fraction of the things i say are quoted from somewhere else. usually youtube. or a movie. i am a loser. oh! again. next time i post its going to be 'how to reach maximum nerdiness in a small amount of time'. written by a professional nerd. which is what i have become. okay. well bye.

yourmom. oh plus also new semester.

ick. mrs schommer and her stupid composition notebooks. i do wish i had mr lund. hes the best. and i hope mr coenen gets nathan to be our student aid or someone else at least. because not having a student aid is no fun at all. also i dislike my ceramics class because theres annoying people and i dont have any friends it in so i'll have to chill with like morgan and shelby and people. on the plus side theres this one junior thats semi attractive so ill have a nice view ahaha. also speaking of nice views, in band we only have two percussionists. it makes me angry. and if youre wondering how i got from nice views to percussion, don't. its my train of thought get your own. im hungry. i dont really like my new schedule, i have to say. dude our band is so small its ridiculous. i hate it. theres literally like 25 people. its the saddest thing ever. who does that. i cant wait for next year when im in varsity band WAIT i just thought of something varsity band is everybody except the freshmen and the symphonic winds which means. yeah. you know what it means. yay for next year. okay. im hungry. and i have to go read the chemistry book on moodle which makes me angry. because why cant they just give a regular textbook like normal people. i hate online books because then i get distracted plus the stupid screen makes my brain hurt. anyway bye.

DONE

You know that feeling where you're like, complete, like you finish something and you're like, yes, done. DONE. Yeah, that's right now. Like where you have nothing hanging over your head and nothing that you're supposed to be doing that you're not, you are totally free? Yeah. Right now. Because, it's a new semester. So the old classes are byebye, and no homework, and new classes! And I fixed my iTunes, which makes me really happy because now I can add songs whenever I want, which I have been doing. It took me close to 8 hours to do it yesterday, but now I'm done and I don't have to worry about it anymore.

I just realized something. If I didn't procrastinate so much, I wouldn't have stuff hanging over my head and I would have the done feeling more often. Ahahaha. Oh well. I'm still gonna procrastinate. There's no getting around it. I decided I'm gonna be in as many extracurricular activites as possible. Because they're fun. And at home I have nothing to do. I find myself looking forward to the next time I have a school deal that I have to go to. So school functions it is. Man I love school. It's getting to be a problem. I'm like Harry Potter, where he never wants to go home and he wishes he could stay at Hogwarts over the summer. Well, no actually, because I definitely don't want to stay at school over the summer, I like summer too much. But still. You could make the connection.

It's snowing again. Ahahahahaha. That makes me laugh. It just nevvvver stops. I would say I wish it was summer but I don't because it's January and I'm cool with that I guess. It can't always be summer. Sometimes it has to be January, and sometimes there has to be 4 feet of snow and counting. I can deal with that. I don't wish it was summer because that would mean that time is flying and I don't like when time does that. I'm gonna wait 5 months for summer. It's gonna go by fast enough anyway. I can't wait for Valentine's Day though. I like Valentine's Day. Even, though...I don't usually do anything. But still. I always forget about the color pink and Valentine's Day is a good time to remember it. I have pink braces. I got them especially for February 14th. and I was gonna paint my nails pink. I just have to get around to it. Well, I think I'm gonna go play the piano now. So, bye.

im hungry.

yeah. im hungry. i want to eat.

so, im in quiz bowl now, kinda. im not actually in it in it, but i going to the practices so im kinda in it. and i answered one question today, cuz today was my newb day so i had no obligation to answer questions. the answer was natasha bedingfield...the questions are kinda random so its like a hit or miss thing either you know it or you dont. also i knew the answer to a different one and it took me awhile to think of it and i was gonna buzz in but then nathan did and said the name of the story not the author and then the other team got it and i was angry. not really i didn't care that much but whatever. you know what i should do? learn how to long divide. i can't do that. i seriously have no idea how. i should learn how to do that. i think im going to eat now. im super hungry cuz all i had for lunch was a parfait. yeah like on shrek 'parfaits are the best thing on the whole damn planet. don know nobody that don like parfaits.' of course theyre the best, theyre french for perfect! they must be amazing. i love parfaits. okay well, now i want some cake, so im gonna go find some. i wonder if meaghan ever made any. she should give me some. bye now.

Sunday, January 23, 2011

I think maybe i have a mild to severe case of ADD slash procrastination issues.

I have to most of my dialectical journals, like ive only done half of one, and all of my essay rough draft, and its going to take me close to seven hours most likely, and its two o clock right now, and yeah pretty much just yeah it sucks and YEAH. by the way i said yeah multiple times on purpose.

FOUR MORE DAYS LEFT OF THIS SEMESTER.

then: no more gym. no more physics. band with PEOPLE. (ahem.) chemistry. and ceramics. and easy block days, like easier than they are already because wednesdays will be math which is easy and then BAND and then art. four more days. of massive homework, crazy finals, and that stupid paper thats due.

so i got 100% on my algebra quiz that we took on friday, but i still have 88% in the class, which made me angry. maybe if i get an A on the final and if he checks some homework this week i can at least get an A-. hopefully.

SCIENCE BOWL.
we were so dang close to winning. well not we as in me but we as in chan. so. dang. close. it was not even fair. i demand a rematch. actually it was fair, but still. anyway yeah science bowl was a fun experience including conversing with certain members of chan team 1.

okay. i have a lot of work to do and i really really really need to stop procrastinating and i have to pee so bye.

Pierce the Veil

ha k well this post probably isnt gonna have anything to do with pierce the veil, but its the name of a band that is good and also it sounds cool so i was like, im gonna name my post that. k? k. i always wanna post but really i never actually have anything to say. sooo yeah. i really want a couch. to put in my room. the st cyrs (kadens parents) threw away a couch in like july and it was perfectly fine and the right size and PURPLE. and i didnt want a couch then but now i do and i totally cuda had that one. so now i gotta find another couch, and most likely pay for it too. which is gonna suck .but im still not out of money from reffing so thats good. plus i...ahem, came across some money for christmas, so thats 85 more. so yay cuz now i have 155. but i gotta buy a new camera first. its not that much. which is good.

lydias leaving today, as in going back to her own room. so then i'll have room for my couch! which i need to get. but for now im just gonna have a ton of space in my room DUDE i am so excited to get a couch then i can sleep on it. yes. sometimes. other times ill sleep on my bed like a normal person.

im eating a candy cane, but i broke off the curve because its not christmas anymore, so now its just a candy stick which makes it okay to eat during the non christmas season. for some reason candy sticks taste better than candy canes. even though theyre the same exact thing. idk. i think its cuz candy sticks are old fashioned. old fashioned stuff is so much better. just like shredded cheese tastes better than...non shredded cheese. idk. maybe its just me.

I REALLY WANT A COUCH.

dude jennifer you me and meaghan are gonna come to my house next saturday and watch the french movie, then we're gonna go to the mall and shop, then we're gonna go to your house and play mario. because you can actually play with three people, we'll just suck. okay? okay. thats the plan. i made one. be proud. because usually i suck at plans. but i really want to go shopping because i want to buy a bright purple sweatshirt from victorias secret plus i needa return some earring soon and also buy a pillowcase for the giant pillow i got. soooooo ya, we needa go to the mall. plus i need some new shirts, preferably purple because i decided since people seem to think i have a lot of purple clothes and that i wear purple a lot and they yell at me about it (okay well its only sean that yells at me, everybody else is okay with it, hes just a weirdo), im gonna ONLY buy purple clothes from now on and wear purple allllllllll the time. hahahhahaha. except on st pattys day on which i will wear orange. JUST KIDDING. green. hahahahahaha go look up chanhappenin in urban dictionary, k? k. bye now.

THE INTERNET IS MAGIC.

that is a fact. cuz like, honestly, there is pretty much nothing in the entire world that you cant do on the internet. for real. you could live in your house and never come out ever ever in your life and you could live perfectly fine, from your birth to your death. (if you could use a computer when you were born) seriously. whatever you need you can just order online and have ti delivered to your door, you can go to an online school and get an online degree, then get a job where you can work from your computer at home. and get your paychecks deposited automatically. and find out whats going on in the world so youre not clueless. and manage your bank account and other stuff online. everything you could possibly ever need is online. besides like, sunlight. cuz you'd be pretty pale if you lived in your house forever without leaving. but still. the internet is a magical thing. very magical. okay thats all i wanted to say. bye.

ps ellen threw my pencil to me today and the pointy part hit my hand and it started bleeding. lose.

2010 "Trends" That I Sincerely Hope Will Disappear in 2011

  • leggings with short shirts. okay people, the rule with leggings is, the shirt has to cover your butt. got it? especially when the leggings are see-through. i dont care how hot you think you are. please. for the sake of everyone.
  • tucked-in shirts. remember in 6th grade when everybody pulled their shirts wayy down over their butts until it was super stretched and tight? okay, this is just as bad. don't tuck your shirt in. just dont do it. okay? unless its one of those skirts that come up really high. but thats the only time. for real. you dont just tuck your shirt into your pants. what is this.
  • sports bras and v-necks. YOU know its not a shirt. I know its not a shirt. WHY DO YOU CONTINUE TO PRETEND THAT IT'S A SHIRT?
  • shorts and uggs. if you do this, you are dead to me. enough said.
  • curly hair and short bangs. k, either your hair is curly, or its straight. pick one! if you dont like your bangs curly, then dont curl your hair.
  • peekaboos. these could be, by far, in the history of disgusting hair colors, the ugliest hair dye ensembles ever. theyre just icky. dont do it. they look super ugly.
okay, that's all i guess.

Last Day of the Year

Gosh that title sucks but I couldn't think of a better one so whatever.

So, I didn't really want to post today, because if I didn't post, I would have 69 posts in 2010. But, I had to, because it's the last day of the year, and I usually post on the last day of the year. So, I'll just have to have 70. What a drag.

Okay, I could go on and on about how time flies sooo fast and how wow, it's already gonna be 2011, and it's been another year, and blahblahblah, which is all true, and no less amazing, but that's kinda what I always talk about, so I'm gonna skip all that. Instead I'm gonna go on and on about other stuff. Just wait and lemme think of what that stuff is okay?

You know, I enjoy being not an adult. Because, when you're an adult you're pretty much the same all the time. I mean, obviously when you're an adult you can still change as a person, but when you're a kid or a teenager you do it all the time. Constantly. Like for real, do you know how much I've changed in the past year? I'm like a totally different person. And also, what I've noticed, is since high school started, I'm more myself. Like, in elementary school I was super weird and did weird stuff but I was also awesome because I was really creative and always starting new stuff and I had a ton of ideas, like for instance the school newspaper, that was awesome, and I started it! But then when I got to middle school I kinda mellowed a lot, without trying to or thinking about it, it was like a subconscious thing, but I was less of myself and I conformed a lot, because that's what middle school is, you want to be like everybody else and fit in. BUT don't get me wrong, I definitely still wasn't like everybody else in middle school, I was just closer to it, because in grade school I was wayy out there, and then I kinda got closer to what everybody else was, but I was still pretty weird. And now that I'm in high school I'm getting way out there again. And it's not really a bad thing, as long as you're not like over the top crazy wanting attention being stupid, but if you're different that's a good thing, right? Which is what I didn't realize in middle school. Because in middle school they had all the 'popular' people (I didn't really want to use that term because it's such a cliche, but there isn't really another term for it), and even though it wasn't a conscious thing, I wanted to be with the popular people, you know, like everybody wants to be with that crowd, and you want them to like you and be part of that group. Like even if I wasn't consciously trying to be part of the little group or whatever, it was still something that I wanted. But now, I have no desire whatsoever to be popular or even associated with them, because honestly, that group of people in our grade is really immature. Like if you consider yourself one of the 'popular' people, you guys know that group in our grade that I'm talking about right? Yeah, they're really annoying because they think that that group of people is so much better than everybody else, and they still judge people based on who they're friends with and who they talk to and what they do outside of school and blahblahblah, and it's soo...middle school. It's like, honestly, be more mature. Like I look at the seniors in our school and I seriously don't see a group of popular people, it's just everybody likes everybody and is friends with everybody, and I don't think our grade is ever gonna get to that point, which is why I don't like our grade, because they're so unable to be mature! It drives me crazy! That's one of the reasons why I like band so much, because it's all grades and all different types of people but they're all in band and they all talk to each other and are friends and it's really fun. Okay, I really got off the point of what I was gonna say. Wow. There I went again with a crazy rant. I'll stop. What I was GONNA say is that now that I'm in high school I'm starting to be myself again, like my real self, and it's kinda fun. I forgot what I used to be like in elementary school, and I was way more fun in elementary school. I kinda sucked in middle school. Why did you people not tell me that? Gosh kids are way better than preteens. And teenagers (I mean they're better), because they're super fun and full of crazy random ideas. Like if you told a middle schooler that you want to build an igloo, they'd be like, that's dumb. But if you told like a senior or a junior that you wanted to build an igloo, they'd be like, awesome let's do it! Except our grade is still stuck in the middle school phase and it's driving me crazy. There we go. That's what I was trying to say when I got all off topic. Yeah. Yeah. I think my point was, being mature isn't about not being a kid and acting grown up and not doing kid stuff. Being mature is being able to know the kind of person you are and what you want to do and then doing it and not caring what other people think of it, just doing it because that's what you want to do. Except you have to be able to know the difference between having fun and crossing the line, because if your idea of fun is throwing chunks of ice at cars on the highway, then you're not mature just because that's what you want to do and you don't care what people think of it. But I'm not gonna get into that part of it because that's gonna be another ten minutes of writing. So just, do you get what I'm trying to say? Yeah, and then back to me, what I was gonna say is I'm glad that I'm not a middle schooler anymore, and not only that but that I don't have the mind of a middle schooler either, because now I can consider myself mature by that definition, because I honestly completely stopped caring what people think of what I do. Completely. And it makes life way more fun because I'm not as held back by other people. I can do whatever and I don't worry that people are gonna think I'm weird or whatever, because chances are they are gonna think I'm weird, but good for them, I don't care. So it's funner to not care what people think. EXCEPT you have to realize that when I say you shouldn't care what people think it doesn't mean you should be a jerk because you don't care what people think of you. You should care if people think you're a bad person, because that's totally not what I meant. There's a line between not caring what people's opinions of you are, and not caring if everybody hates you. Okay? Get what I'm saying? Good.

And by the way, I'm not trying to be like deep or whatever. I'm just saying the first things that come to my mind cuz this is what I think and yeah. So don't laugh at me because you think I'm trying to be deep and profound and blahblahblah. Cuz I'm totally not. I'm just saying stuff. Anyway, this is a super long post and it doesn't really have to do with the end of the year, but whatever I don't care.

Happy New Year!
Holy crap it's gonna be 2011 tomorrow. I should stop now before I get into the "wow time flies" thing because I am seriously weirded out right now. Um, yeah, so, bye, and happy 2011 craziness to you.

walking in a winter wonderland

even though christmas is over, you should look outside, because seriously that is like the definition of a winter wonderland. therefore, that song is in my head now. im cold. i just took a shower and my brother and sister took one before me and used up all the hot water which was not cool because then my shower was cold and i wasnt happy.

new years
idk what im gonna do for new years cuz i really wanted to go to katies party but my dad wont let me for a reason that im not aware of, so most likely its gonna be me and lydia watching the ball drop and then watching movies till 3am and eating food and drinking sparkling whatever juice. oh well. thats the way it usually goes i guess. and then the next day i think im going on a hay ride with my extended family which is really fun cuz most of the time we're not actually on the trailer, we're walking behind it pushing each other in the snow and then getting stuck and having to run to catch up. its funner than it sounds okay? im kinda excited to go back to school. like, break is fun and all, but i like school a lot. idk. dont judge. school is fun. besides, you know, the school part.

i changed my desktop background to an epic picture of aslan. it used to be unicorn tetherball but it was like that for like a month so i changed it. idt aslan is gonna last long though because its kinda blurry and im not really liking it that much. oh well.

DUDE only a month left of this semester! that means two weeks of health and two weeks of gym and DONE. and then i have ceramics which i didnt really want to be in, but oh well cuz who knows who could be in that class ahahahahaha. certain people. okay. and plus i think band is gonna change so we're gonna have different people. which is kinda good kinda bad, cuz i like new people but i also like the people who are in band right now sooo yeah. oh yeah, and no more physics! yesssss cuz seriously physics is getting old. i kinda hate it a lot. oh geez and we're gonna have a final aren't we. dang. oh well. ahhhhh and midterms. shoot. im suddenly less excited. okay wellllllll i dont really have anything to say idk why you people even read this cuz i say dumb stuff that nobody cares about but anyway we've been through this that is what this blog is about soooooooo deal with it. bye.

something new>>>>>>>>>>>>>

do you like how i used arrows to point to something? ahaha i was pretty proud of myself right there..okay. sorry. anyway. so will told me to go to his blog and then i did and then i followed it and then i added it as a link and now you should, ah, follow it also. its like, movies reviews and stuff. and this post doesnt count as a post fyi so dont think you can just read it and comment and be like okay there i commented and then not read the other post or 2 or 3 or 10 behind this that you didnt comment on. you have to read AND COMMENT on those two. i shoulda added that to my list of things i hate. when people dont comment. okay well uh, go to wills blog, and, bye. and read the other posts or else i'll........find you. and......stuff. k bye.

Today Is December 26

and the day after christmas. which means it's a good day to make a fort and drink hot chocolate in it and watch robin hood. hey wait!....that's what i'm gonna do! ahahaha. okay here are a couple things that i really hate:

1. obnoxious people. cant stand them. ick ick ick ick i hate them.
2. hypocrites. practice what you preach or i will hate you.
3. when people make up facts, like theyre like yeah, 90% of people do blahblahblah, and im like what are you even talking about you obviously made that up.
4. when people are obviously lying and they still try to get away with it.
5. when commercials play twice in a row. cant stand it.
6. when people want to be a certain way so they purposely act that way and then people think thats the type of person they actually are and then i know that really theyre not and that is just a totally fake thing theyre doing. but everybody else thinks thats actually who they are. and its not.
7. when i cant remember stuff. it drives me crazy.
8. when people say, "yeah i was gonna tell you this one thing but now im not." and then they dont tell you and im like okay cool way to make me super curious for no reason.
9. when people say things that make no sense during an argument. and its like, what do i even say to that? its just so stupid that you cant even say anything, but then theyre like yeah thats right you have nothing. and im like no, its not that you won the argument, its just that what you're saying makes no sense whatsoever and your stupidity leaves me speechless.
10. when i forget what i was gonna say.
11. when people think theyre smart and they think theyre like super super smart and they call you stupid and its like, dude, youre not even that smart.
12. when people cant take a freaking hint.
13. when people have no common sense and they dont understand certain social standards like, you dont tell someone that you dont like the gift they gave you or something. its like, duhhhhh, you dont do that. you just dont do it.
14. being interrupted.
15. the attitudes of middle schoolers, like, we're better than everyone because we're almost teenagers now, and wow teachers are so stupid, and youre so stupid, and that kid is weird lets not talk to them, and hahaha you actually like the teacher whats wrong with you, i hate mrs blahblahblah, this is stupid, lets be obnoxious and make it seem like we hate this activity and its beneath us just because we cant do it or are intimidated by it.
16. immature people. theres a difference between being childish and immature. and plus, if you want to be immature thats okay, but honestly, theres a time and place for everything. figure out what it is okay? youre in ninth grade.
17. when people take advantage of trust.
18. when people dont trust enough, like theres a nice person at the store trying to help you out and then whoevers with you is like, no theyre just trying to rip you off. i mean obviously if some creepy old guy is like, please come to my car and help me load my groceries, you shouldnt do it, but honestly theres a line between being safe and aware, and just not trusting anybody.
19. ridiculous rules that have no point. enough said i guess. like, why is this even a rule? i dont get it.

okay this list was originally gonna be short but then i kept thinking of stuff that really makes me angry and i probably could go on for a lot longer but i'll stop now.

Officially Official

Yeah, I'm officially definitely a nerd now. If you thought being a band nerd was bad, then hahahahahahhahaha. because now im officially in science bowl AND pep band ahahahaha. but science bowl is actually kinda fun. i like nerds, just not the nerds in our grade. like bobby and brad. mostly i just dont like those two. but the nerds in the grades above us are awesomeeee....especially the one whos a student aide in my algebra class because he is quite good-looking:) so thats a contributing factor to why i'm in science bowl..WOW i am a freak, why am i so obsessed with guys? whatever, that's not the ONLY reason i'm in it, it's fun, and i believe maybe perhaps i can letter, and also it looks good for college, and since science and math are my weakest subjects, i can probably get better at them with this. sooo yay.

QUADS
we got this new song in band for pep band called hold on im coming and i played quads on it and it was reallyyyyy funnnnnnnnnn. okay i got really sidetracked and i dont know what to say anymore sooo bye.

THANK YOU.

Actually, I have more to say

i know, i shouldn't post more than one thing in one day, but i dont have anything to do so im gonna say more. um, well, that actually wasnt totally true, i probably should do my homework, and i have some christmas cards that probably i should make, but isn't that why they made the internet? to procrastinate? i thinkkk, yes. yeah today my dad's like, do you have homework? and i go, yep. and he's like are you gonna do it? and i go, uh, well, i haven't decided yet. and he's like what? and i go, well, im still debating. and hes like, it's not a choice! and im like, yess, yess it is. it was funny because of course it's a choice. i dont do my homework because the teachers say im supposed to do my homework. i do it because, because, wait, why do i do it? hm. well there you go. i dont do it. problem solved. whoa. i just found a screwdriver in my lap. i dont even know how that got there. weird moment. oh. i forgot. paragraphs.

there, no more brain overload. less than one week til christmas:) it makes me happy. know what else makes me happy?

stuff.

andddd, unicorns. movies. harry potter. cookies. holidays. food. bowling. long showers. when my hair cooperates. average people. snuggies. parades. singing. dancing. singing and dancing at the same time(WIN). winning. pirates. when movies i like come out and i see them on opening day. opening presents. (come on, you know you like it too.) making crossword puzzles. wrapping presents and putting them under the tree all pretty like. WHEN ONE OF YOUR BEST FRIENDS DOESN'T MOVE TO FLORIDA. i love that. dont you just love that? when they dont move across the country? that just MAKES MY DAY. i love it so much. okay. i should stop thinking about that or i might freak out some more. ummm, things that make me happy. right. okay. tacos. when i think, cough if you can read minds, and then someone coughs. when people laugh at things i say even though it wasnt actually supposed to be funny but it ended up that way. baking food. meatballs. vacation. bye

Underrated Things

things that people forget about, overlook, or dont give enough credit to:

staplers- how else would we hold our papers together? tape? paperclips? no, nothing works as good as the stapler. people forget about them, you know?

flowers- people write flowers off as 'little girl' items, but honestly, flowers are pretty! and they smell good! just go out in the garden or wherever and pick a bouquet and you will see.

sandwiches- while the rest of the world is off marveling about the glories of sliced bread, most people forget about its most common use: the sandwich. did you know it was invented by a british dude who didnt want to eat his spaghetti with his hands? yeah so next time youre enjoying a nice turkey and cheese or pb and j or whatever, remember to mentally thank the guy who put his pasta between two slices of bread.

digital clocks- it is because of them that i dont know how to read a regular clock without thinking about it first. but honestly, it's much easier to just see the numbers right in front of you instead of counting by fives and getting confused. whoever thought of the digital clock, i salute you.

scarves- besides being a slightly overused fashion statement, they keep your neck warm. nuff said.

black bears- people are like, save the polar bears, look at the cute panda bear, omg its a ferocious grizzly bear, and they all forget about the equally cute, endangered, frightening black bear. just saying. plus theyre native to minnesota.

the axle- okay everyones always like, the greatest invention on earth is the wheel, but remember, without the axle, the wheel would just roll every which way and we couldn't attach to stuff and it would be useless. so remember to include the axle in all of your wheel-worshipping and whatnot.

classical music- theres tons of good music genres out there. we know this. but dont forget about classical music. because it's good too. it is. just listen to it. it's especially fun to play. on the piano. or in BAND.

macaroni and cheese- the food of our childhood. and that we still eat. because it's yummy.

kleenexes- before kleenexes, people blew their noses on a dirty pieces of cloth that they kept in their pocket. over and over. all day. the same piece of cloth. it's called......... a hanky.

other stuff that im too lazy to think of right now. anyway. the point of this post is sometimes you should look around and think about all the stuff you take for granted and be like whoa. what would i do without this? or what would the world be like without this? (because in the case of the black bear, what would you do without it? you would continue your life. but whatever. try to understand where im going.) so just, think about stuff sometimes. and dont take stuff for granted. which i do a lot. like, look at my school. it's so nice. people in africa dont have that. (i had this discussion with jennifer) so just uhhhhhhhhhh yeah. that's it i guess. i had more to say but it escaped me so uhh bye

Clarifications

just a little fyi for the population of america:

your: [possessive] Your unicorn is running away!

you're: [abbreviation of you are] You're the best sandwich I've ever had. ("you" being the sandwich)

its: [possessive] Its claws are as sharp as razors.

it's: [abbreviation of it is] It's raining cats and dogs! (and unicorns!)

also i know i didnt use the brackets right and i shouldve used parentheses but i like brackets so i used those instead.

grilled cheese

i just got a craving for grilled cheese. so, i named my post grilled cheese. ahaha. umm, so i went to church this morning, and saw a lot of people that i know, including brandon keiffer sat right behind me which made me laugh.
hmmmmm i will be eating grilled cheese soon. because i really want it now. my house smells like chlorine. i dont know why but its really strong and its getting in my mouth and i dont like it. mannnn it snowed a lot yesterday. you know what i love more than blizzards? the day after blizzards. like, winter mornings when the snow is super super deep and perfectly level and its freezing cold outside but not windy at all and super sunny and the snow is really sparkly. yeah, like today. i love it.
so in english we have to write love stories about people we know and mrs petersen is like you could even write it about a teacher. and i think she just said that because she really wants someone to ask her about her and her husband just so she can get all sappy and stuff and tell us the story. which, no. cuz, thats awkward and plus i dont like mrs petersen and also if i tried to write that story then and i messed it up she would know and i wouldnt even be able to change anything and yeah it would just be bad soooo no. im pretty sure im gonna do my grandma and grandpa because theres no one else to do.
sooo i wrote christmas letters to everyone on my moms side of the family which is 8 letters, and they were all handwritten and not the same letter like they were all different, and it was a lot of work. but i figured since i love getting mail then other people must too so i should write letters because then people will get mail and then theyll be happy.
BAND
i have a band concert on mondayyyyyyyy!!!! im excited. because, i love band. and we have another rehearsal on monday during the sixth hour concert band so that means i have band three times in one day. andddd i get to skip sixth hour which is gym so yay. anddd i will have a 'nice view'. ahaha. and then i have pep band on tuesday andddd friday. i love band so much.
CHRISTMAS
is in thirteen days! yay. im excited. we have our christmas tree. its REAL. as in not fake. yay.
HEY
i just remembered today is my half birthday. 6 months til im fifteen. i want to be fifteen. man, this is like, high school. this is what everyone talks about. we only have four years and then its gone. we better make it last. and make it good. because all those movies you see, and all the stuff people talk about, about high school, thats like right now. RIGHT NOW. this is like, our life. right now. every single second that we have goes by and then we dont have it anymore and we have that much less of our lives to live. man i dont want to waste any more time. i waste time all the time. and i get that you cant really fill up every second, sometimes you gotta chill and waste time and not do anything, but not all the time like me. like dont just sit on your bed listening to music every day from roughly 6 to 8:30. like i do. thats such a waste of a life. remind me to be involved in more school stuff. and out of school stuff. and remind me to do stuff thats important. that im gonna remember and be like, yeah, when i was in high school, i did this and this and this and alllll this cool stuff. okay? remind me. cuz this is like, our life. i kinda want to stop wasting it.
GRILLED CHEESE NOW
okay, im super hungry, even though im sposed to be doing homework right now. so im gonna go eat grilled cheese, THEN do my homework, then go to my grandparents house where my uncle and my aunt now live also and my uncle used to live in connecticut so i like never see him so im gonna make cookies with them and ask my grandparents about their love (how is your love) and chill for a while there. anyway, bye. grilled cheese here i come. man im hungry.

why is it that when i eat breakfast i get hungrier faster, and when i dont i can last forever without eating? i dont get it. bye.

boogie downnnnnn!

ridin on your tank like you own it, oh, you keep on ridin on your tank like you own it, uh. you know i wanna check out your components, oh, girl, you know i wanna check out your components, uh.

some time later.

said its cool, you're touchin my hand, yeah its cool, its cool, where we ridin to? so come on, sugar, touchin my hand, yeah its cool, its cool, where we ridin to?

awesome song. with more lyrics than that, but those are the cool ones, and most of it is repetitive.
said its cool, youre touchin my hand, yeah its cool, its cool, where we ridin to?

oh gosh its such a good song.

CRAZY FOR YOU
im crazy for crazy for you. ahahahhaa. im funny. anyway, it's really good, like ridiculously good, better than i thought it would be. (its a play btw abby.) and yeah i probably would pay to see it again, because its super good. but man those people in deadrock or wherever, they sure do get around. pretty much everyone with something close to a lead ends up kissing at least like two people. like i said to meaghan, if i was in this play and my dad were watching he probably would stop the show in the middle and be like no this is not okay stop right now. ahahaha. its funny. but anyway yeah she was all i love you. no i love you. no, you. no, wait, it's the same person. no i hate you. no im gonna kiss you. and the guys like my wife is healthy, darnit, no wait she left me, now im gonna kiss this chick but first im gonna get kissed by this chick. its hilarious. and theres lots of dancing and singing which i like.

to watch. not so much to do.

NARNIA.
comes out on friday! yay! and shannon from french informed me that ben barnes aka prince caspian is in fact going to be in this one, which makes me happy. cuz he is lovely. i like narnia. i still think the first one is the best though.

BAND
i have a band concert on monday which means rehearsals on this wednesday and next monday which means on monday i get to miss 6th hour anddddd it also means on both days i get to chill with the other band whichhhhh makes me happy because i like, ahem, the people, in the other band. ahahahha. and then next tuesday i have pep band and again on friday and again on the tuesday after that which makes me happy because pep band is fun and we play fun songs. and my dress that i ordered is apparently coming on time which makes me happy.

MY ITUNES NEEDS TO BE FIXED LIKE, AH, NOW, BECAUSE I HAVE MANY SONGS THAT I WOULD LIKE TO DOWNLOAD AND I CANT DO THAT BECAUSE I NEED TO GET MY OLD SONGS ONTO MY IPOD. I HAVE LIKE 90 SONGS LITERALLY WAITING TO BE ADDED THAT I CANT ADD AND IVE BEEN LISTENING TO THE SAME 490 SONGS FOR THE PAST MONTH AND A HALF AND ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY I NEED NEW STUFF VERY SOON LIKE NOW.

oops that was only gonna be a title and it ended up being a paragraph in all caps because, because, thats just the way it ended up. okay. i think im out of things to say now. um. wait. yep. yep. all done. asdfghjkl;

i  need new music.

boogie down!!!!!

4th dimensional transition

i feel
your racing heart
my liquid silver arms
extended
these waves
arent far apart
blackgold in clawfoot tubs
unchanging
i am fire
wheres my form?
whisper crimson
i intrude
there's light beneath your eyes
new overtones in view endless form
endless time

if
what they say is true
you are a shadow in fourth dimension
to float away with you
we see the corners where
nothing happens\
while we drifted we were one
ceiling lifted walls were gone
you speak the language of the breeze
all your leaves were meant for me
the love that every person wants to be

[drums]

stuck together
i dont like revealing secrets
i live inside your lips if
you wont laugh
my heaving hands on
rotten fruit at last
fallow fingers
theres a surface i can count on
she'd fit inside my heart
and take it over
til her cape got blown into my red lungs
either theres a purpose
or im heading out at breakfast
take a drink
take a drag
one more coffee
ugly hat
no more mirrors
woolen bag
and i am gone

if
what they say is true
you are a shadow in the fourth dimension

thats my favorite part

chill days chill songs and plans for tomorrow...and crazy western shirts

CHILL DAYS
usually on fridays i do stuff, like go to jennifers (ahem, teehee, all the time) or whatever other random stuff i do on fridays (or in this case thursdays because today is thursday but its technically friday) but i guess today is gonna be a chill friday because jennifer has piano, meaghan has knowledge bowl, louisse is in florida, and jodi has dance, and i probably cant hang with abby because usually i have to plan ahead for that because she is so impossible to get ahold of. but i might go to jodis dance performance deal with tia later,, i still dont know. but otherwise ill just watch a disney movie like my other chill fridays, probably the little mermaid 2 because that wont be fun for you guys to watch tomorrow unless you watch the first one but i just watched that so im not watching it again,,,,,, henceee, i will watch the second one now and not have to worry about it.

CHILL SONGS
i know, i know, i have stressed many times the amazingness of mgmt, but i felt the need to stress it yet again on account of the fact that i have discovered even more that i desperately want to put on my ipod but cant for reasons that will take too long to explain. anyway, 4TH DIMENSIONAL TRANSITION is the first one. its really really good, i think it kinda goes with of moons birds and monsters a little, they remind me of each other. and it has crazyyyyy drumming that kind of hypnotizes me and that i really really want to learn. another one that is really good that i recently discovered is DESTROKK, which is awesome and really old and different from their other stuff...destrokk isnt on itunes...and this one kinda goes with INDIE ROKKERS, those two kinda fit together, which i think is funny because they both have double k's. k a few more are PIECES OF WHAT and FUTURE REFLECTIONS. theres a bunch more that are awesome but these are the best. especially 4th dimensional transitions. not that youre gonna look them up but if you feel like it make sure its 4th dim trans, k? haha trans.

PLANS FOR TOMORROW
tomorrow peopleeeee are coming over, and we are having a disneyyyyy movieeeee marathonnnnnn!!!!!!! yayyy! and pig out on food perhaps? maybe. still debating about that because ive been pigging out a lot lately..and then anyway after that we're going to see crazy for you because we saw the preview and it was pretty good so now we're going to see it. speaking of pigging out (idk how this made me think of this) but i ordered this dress for the band concert because we have to wear all black and the order says 6-8 days right? yeah so then it says estimated delivery date; december 14th and im like wowwwwww because guess when my concert is? december 13th. what a joke. it better come on time or im gonna freakkk out. because i really want to wear that one but if it doesnt come by saturday before the 13th then im gonna have to go buy a different one. and then i will be angry. anyway.

CRAZY WESTERN SHIRTS.
okay the shirt in question is neither crazy nor western, just plaid and out of the ordinary for the person wearing the shirt. because you know band kid? yeah and how he always wears gray or black or gray..or black? yeah well he always wears this one gray shirt that he always wears and he wore it yesterday and then today he wore a red plaid shirt and i was like whoaaa and jennifer was like whoa someone went crazy and then i was like yeahh what shirt was he wearing underneath?(cuz it was like open and there was a shirt under) and shes like ...the gray one and i was like ahahahahaha. funny stuff. and then jennifer kept saying western. which, people wear plaid all the time. ya freak. but anyway i though that shirt was extremelyy attractive. he needs to wear it again. okay hopefully you guys are the only ones that ever read this cuz mannn i am a creep. oh well.

bye.

4th dimensional transition okay?
